The Blonde looked at her with anguish in her eyes, “You can’t be serious?!” She exclaimed
“Dad.”
“I don’t know why……I mean he was the only reason I stayed. And you left and I felt alone” she said before hugging rose tightly. “Mom always hits me when no one is around. She likes you. You’re her favorite you know?” She says into her ear
Rose held her close. “What can I do to help?”
“Take me with you the next time you leave” she begged
She pat her head lightly and nodded. “Would you like to meet my kids when we get to France?”
She looked at her and nodded, “I’d love that! I’ve been dying to meet the little ones!” She said.
She grinned. “You’re going to love them. One even wants to be a doctor.”
“They seem sweet. I’m excited Rose” she said and pulled away before they continued to walk towards the club
She smiled.
The blonde looked at Rose, “so he left you?” She asked referring to her boyfriend/father of her kids. She’d heard he’d left
“He…” She whimpered a bit. “He died….”
She looked wide eyed and stopped her. Hugging Rose tightly. “Mom has been talking bad about you. She’s told me that he left you, that she knew he didn’t like you. And it hurt to hear. Dad doesn’t know does he?” She asked. She stood as tall as Rose and hugged her close. “I’m sorry Rose” she said and nuzzled her
“He was so sweet… He took a bullet for Luke. Dad can never know. He’ll blame me for him dying, and I’m not prepared to face him.”
Jackie hugged her tighter, “He won’t blame you! Dad loves us!” She said and kissed Rose’s head. “I’m sorry he’s gone. I’m so sorry” she said softly.
“Is not your fault,” she said softly. “You don’t have to apologize.”
“I’m still sorry” she said and hugged her tighter. She pulled away some to look at her. “W-well we should get going” she said and wiped Rose’s tears away
Rose nodded.
She sighed and leaned and laid her head on Roses shoulder.
