He saw her at the crosswalk and honked his horn.
He rolled down a window.
“Do you need a ride? ”She looked at him shivering, soaked, and sore. She sighed in relief, “I think I need one. Yes” she said loudly to him from where she stood. Hurrying to the other side. And opening his door. She slipped in.
“Thanks Marshall” she said with exasperated breath.
As she got in her whole self was soaked. Including her clothesHe nodded.
“No problem. Where do you live? ”“Remember where jule street is?” She asked. He used to live by her. Only a few houses down. “I still love on there” she added and shivered. As he started to drive.

“Got it.She sighed and nodded. “I’m sorry I’m probably ruining your car right now huh?” She asked him. Looking out the window as he drove
