The Blonde looked at her with anguish in her eyes, “You can’t be serious?!” She exclaimed

Rose started the ritual.

Jackie watched her, looking and watching carefully. Standing still she had no understanding or expectation of what was to come out of this.

The books that were on the ground lifted into the air as Rose started to chant; their pages turning rapidly.

Jackies hair started to lift the air spinning as the books levitated. She watched the books and then watched Rose. Her body felt warm

The chanting intensified as the family members joined.

Her body felt warmer and warmer. Sweat beaded along her skin. She fell to her knees. Her back arched over and her hands propped her up. She coughed.
