He nodded and twisted his lips just as she winced is pain
“Are you okay?”
She sighed, “my cheek hurts a bit still” she sad softly and looked at him directly
He brought his hands up to her face and brushed the mark slightly before pulling away and shaking his head.
“That’s going to leave an ugly bruise.” He said and then took another sip of his drink.
“I’m sure everyone at school will notice.”
She sighed and looked at him. Her cheek swelling. “It looks really bad then I suppose” she said softly.
Feeling only some of his touch against her cheek.
“At least I’m not any uglier….” She joked trying to get him to smile.
She picked up her drink and downed the rest of it quickly. “So you ready to study?” She asked trying to change the subject.
Internally thinking off ways to lessen the swelling.
