The Blonde looked at her with anguish in her eyes, “You can’t be serious?!” She exclaimed

Rose chuckled a bit and nodded.

“So what do you think I should choose?” She asked.

“I’m not sure. Being a demon means you live a long time. Being a reaper means you live until you commit suicide or are killed by another reaper.”

“M-may I-I ask wh-what Monty is?” She asked her sister as they walked

“He’s a demon,” she answered.

She nodded and looked over her sister up and down. She sighed. “I think I’ve made a decision” she said after several quiet moments

Rose smiled a bit. “Let’s hear it.”

She nodded no. “I’ll wait till we are inside. With everyone else” she said and hugged Rose before they moved back into the house. She found her way back into the room where everyone seemed to be sitting and talking

Conquest looked up and smiled at her.

Jackie gave a faint smile and took to standing behind her chair holding onto the back of if. She looked at her grandfather. “I’ve chosen to become a demon.” She said strongly.

A lot of the family members smiled.

The blonde looked at Monty and smiled shyly then to Rose. Then around the room. “So what next?” She asked. Softly

“We’ll see you tomorrow morning. What happens will shock you.”

Jackie raised an eye brow. “Tomorrow?” She asked him. Then nodded, “I suppose I’ll find out.” She said softly.

He nodded before letting everyone leave.

Jackie turned and started to leave after everyone had left and followed back into Monty’s home.

The bell rang and the class began pouring out.
The teacher didnt pay much attention as the room began to empty.
Marshall stood up and walked around Jinx chuckling.
He paused.
He knew he could have been an ass and leave her be, but at the same time what joy was in it for him to wake her up.
With a crooked smile he smacked the back of her head, forcing her awake.

She didn’t pay much attention to the bell. But as she suddenly felt a sharp “SMACK” to the back of her head she shot awake. And turned to look. Fixing her glasses, she looked around and found Marshall.
Go figure he was the culprit to the sudden wake up call. And headache.
She noticed the room was emptying and she groaned as she gathered her things. As she stood she pushed passed him and muttered something.
“Thanks for waking me.” She said softly but sincerely.
Then she booked it out of the art room and off to lunch.

He shook his head and walked out the class behind her.
He walked in the opposite direction in thr hallway.
He was skipping lunch and having to talk to the band. He had to notify that he had to skip rehearsals and attend a ridiculous tutor session after school

She went straight to the cafeteria thankful Marshall went opposite of her.
As she entered in, she headed straight to her usual corner table.
As she took her seat her two only friends Jackie and Riley show up. Smiling as they all join into conversation over a multitude of subjects.
Jinx putting Marshall out of mind

Marshall retreated towards his band mates and sighed.
The all conversed about what they wanted to do for homecoming and decided that they would continue to write a few songs after learning there was a possibility Marshall could make it after getting some tutoring.

Jinx finished conversing with her friends and then proceeded to finish her small lunch of an apple and a small bag of chips then left. Waving her friends off she went to her chem class.

Marshall left to his classes too

Jinx entered in and started to help her teacher working on setting up the labs for the day.

He sat in the back of his English class.

Classes the rest of the day seemed to pass slowly. But as the last bell rang Jinx gathered her stuff and hurried off to the library’s cowering through the library shelves for a book. While she waited for the time to sit at the back area of the library for the study session
