He went to his next class
As she went to her next class she slouched into her seat and laid her head on her arms as she waited for class to end. It was the same class though that she was sharing her project with Marshall for. He should be here, she thought.
He showed up late and He sat beside her.
“Sorry. Band needed me for something”“Is everything okay? What did they need you for?” She asked him and sat up some glad he showed to class. This was one of his other struggle classes and they had done a joint project.
He shrugged.
“They needed something regarding equipment. Everything should be fine
”She raised a brow in slight confusion and then nodded. “Well let’s hope it’s fine” she said softly. And as she finished talking class started and they were first to present. Thankfully the class went by quickly, at least it her anyways. In the last 5 minutes they sat waiting for the final grade to be given to them.
He waited nervously for their final grade.
As the teacher came around he hand jinx the final graded score on a piece of paper. When she turned it over she read it then looked at Marshall. She hugged him. “You passed.” She said softly into his shoulder. They had gotten an A on the project.
He did a fist pump and then looked at her and hugged her.
“This is nuts. Thank you. We get to perform at homecoming!”“Yep. And you don’t have to thank me! I’m glad I helped.” She said sweetly and hugged him tighter not wanting to let go. But as the moment passed she hesitantly released him and pulled away a small blush on her face. “I’m really proud of you honestly!” She said in a soft voice.
He blushed too.
“T-thanks… I couldn’t have done it without you” he said sheepishly. She nodded, “you had the capability of it in you the whole time. I just gave you the right stuff” she said sweetly. And rubbed her arm. “Well I have no more finals. Do you?” She asked.
He shook his head.
“No. What do we do now?”
“Well I should probably go home my dad is waiting for me….. Ya know?” She asked. She was telling the truth and yet she was hoping he was in a good mood today. “Would you be able to drive me home maybe?” She asked.
