Elven had been very close to killing that man earlier. He wanted to kill him, and he easily could have, but he held back. Elven had to eatch Angel be choked and hit, and that had made his blood boil. Though he tried to calm down, for Angel’s sake.

Once bacj to the warehouse, he quickly opened the door, and saw Violet in bed reading a magazine. He said, “me and Angel get the bed tonight. You can sleep on the couch for once.” Normally Violet would argue and make jokes. But she saw how the two of them lookedn anf knew something had happened. Though that was better left to be asked in the morning. She moved to the couch, and elven laid Angel down on it. He then laid beside Angel, snuggling into his back, before quietly sobbing.

Angel curled up in his sleep, gently whimpering, dreaming about the prior event. His body was still while his chest rose and fell.

Elven kept his arns aroundbhim, trying to calm angel as best as possible. He left small kissing along his cheek and neck and shoulder, but eventually had to fall asleep as well. He didn’t wake up until the sun shone through the window. He sat up groggily, but leaned over to kiss Angel, and whispwred, “morning, my Angel.”

Angel laid still feeling the light kiss from Elven causing his eyes to flutter open. His eyes were blurred as he tried to let them adjust to the sunlight creeping in through the window. He turned to see Elvey laying next to him and gave him a smile, but winced feeling his black eye sting. “Elvey,” Angel started out, “I-I’m sorry,” his lips quivered as held onto one of the vampire’s hands.
