Marsh texted back.
“Thats okay. I needed to pass. It was more important.” He replied. She sighed and felt guilty.
[[TEXT]]
I’m still sorry. I feel bad you probably had a girl in mind to ask.
“Maybe”
She sighed feeling horrible. About it all.
[[TEXT]]
Well are we still planning on hanging out tomorrow correct?
[[TEXT]]
Yes. Why?He placed his phone down briefly so he could tune his guitar. He thought about askimg about the bruises over dinner, but he wasn’t so sure if that was a good idea.
//Longer responses hun?
[[TEXT]]
No reason just curious I just wanted to get away from home.
She responded and waited for his response. She pulled up her sweater and looked at her torso. It was covered in bruises. She sighed. She wanted to where a tank top tomorrow. And to do it she’d have to cover herself in makeup. Though it’d be a nice change. But she’d worry he’d see her ugly body. And she put her shirt down and closed her eyes trying to push away the thoughts of him looking disgusted if he saw her body.
[[TEXT]]
Are you still up for dinner? He left his guitar alone and even started to change his clothes. He was still in his sleeping wear and was feeling a little sick but well enough to eat something and talk to her about things that could have possibly went on at home.
He knew she wasn’t going to admit to it, but he suspected as much.
He had hoped he was wrong. She sighed and saw his text and smiled,
[[TEXT]]
Yea of course as long as you’re still up for it?
She slid off her bed and stripped of her jeans and put on a long and oversized sweatshirt then flopped back onto her bed.
[[TEXT]]
When should I pick you up?
[[TEXT]]
Whenever you want honestly. I’d love you to save me hahaha.
He frowned at her text. He was suspecting some sort of truth behind that but instead decided to push the thought aside for the time being.
[[TEXT]]
I’ll be there in two hours to get you.
[[TEXT]]
But it’s like 2 am! You shouldn’t have to
She looked shocked at his text no one would ever do that for her she thought. On a side note she was relieved he didn’t question her. She wouldn’t know what to tell him. Definitely not the truth. She sighed and kicked her legs some and stared at the ceiling
