“I’m so sorry,” Marilyn scurried to pick up all the papers that were scattered on the ground. “I was working on cleaning, but it seems I made more of a mess than actually cleaning anything up,” she blushed lightly and glanced at the man near her.
“Thanks” he replied with a small smile and blush
“No problem,” she smiled sweetly. Marilyn looked around the room and found a big t-shirt then scurried to the restroom to change her shirt and wash off the blood on her hand.
He waited awkwardly and then eventually began to finish cleaning up the mess.
“Ahh so much better,” Marilyn walked back into the room and gasped, “Whoa you clean things up really fast..or did I take a long time?” she pondered for a moment then giggled. “Marshal I know I already said this, but” she bent over and winked, playfully, “You’re very sweet.”
He looked up at her and smiled.
Standing up he wiped his forehead. “Thanks. You are too.”Marilyn blushed lightly and smiled, “Thank you,” a light giggle escaped between her lips. “Hey Marshal, would you wanna go do something together?”
He looked up and smiled.
“Sure. What would you like?”“Hmmm,” she thought carefully and rocked on her heels. “How about we go to a movie or something,” Marilyn tilted her head, still pondering on ideas.
He nodded.
“Sounds good.” He replied“Lets go then,” Marilyn grabs a hold of Marshal’s hand lightly with a slight pink to her face.
He blushed and smiled.
“Well… okay! ”She smiled happily and walked with Marshal to the movie theater.
As they walked he stared at the cloudy skies, feeling grateful that he wouldn’t have told burn at that very moment. He looked at her briefly.
“What movie are we seeing?” He asked curiously.Marilyn paused after hearing the guy’s question. “U-um..” she felt a bit scatter brained, “I didn’t think about it. Oh Oh we could go see this new horror comedy movie that came out. It looked pretty silly on the trailers. It’s called cooties,” Marilyn giggled happily as she walked up to the box office with Marshal.
Marshall snorted at the title of the movie and eagerly nodded as he scratched his head.
Horror movies were his favorite kind of movies as well as comedies. He found himself laughed at either one despite some people thinking he was a bit odd for them.
“Yes, that sounds great.” He replied.
“I’ll buy the tickets and you can get the snacks?”Marilyn nodded sweetly and saluted him. “I got ya covered,” she giggled at her silliness and made her way off to the concession stand. She pondered over her choices and checked everything out to see the best options of snacks. But she settled and picked out a large popcorn and a large Icee for the both of them.
Marshall paid for the tickets and they were able to snag them early.
He found it better that they got in early so that they could take the best seats. He waited patiently by the doors for Marilyn to arrive with their snacks.
Marilyn paid quickly for the snacks and glanced around to see Marshal. She frowned being unable to see the boy. Marilyn walked around the lobby trying see if she could get a glimpse of Marshal. Finally out of the corner of her eye she saw him obviously waiting for her by the doors. She pranced toward him and handed him the large popcorn so he could carry half of the snacks.
