“Listen man, I don’t want any trouble.” He said as he held his hands up, his weapons away. “I didn’t mean to get caught up in this…” He was bleeding and bruised pretty badly.
Jinx had finally been fed up. She swung her knee up and kicked the gang leader with his gun to her, in the gut. She elbowed the man holding her. And he let go. She fell to the ground as she did suck the gang leader’s gun went off in her direction. She covered her head and it was hard to tell if she’d been hit or not but the entire field was open for grave to finish things.
Grave pulled out one of the guns he looted from a dead body and shot the gangs, cutting apart the ones who didn’t get shot with the bullets, he ran to her and got down to her. “Jinx! For fucks sake…”
She winced as she tried to sit up. She’d been shot in her shoulder and she looked at Grave. “Sorry” she spoke in a hardened tone as she finally sat up. Looking at her shoulder the bullet still in her. “I was annoyed.” She added
“Yeah, no shit…That was stupid but at least you’re not fucking dead…” He sighed and looked at the bullet wound. “Go back inside, I’ll be in to treat that and get the bullet out…”
She nodded and sat on her knees. “I’m staying right here” she said softly. “Plus I’m locked out.” She explained. She knew she could run. But it’d be futile. For many reasons. One injured. Two I’d be leaving my cat. And three he’d just bring me back anyways. She thought
He raised an eyebrow. “How did you get out of here anyways..?” He got on his knees and his arm and hand glowed softly as he started to heal the wound, pulling out the bullet slowly.
She sighed, “you left the door unlocked.” She said softly. She winced as he pulled out the bullet and started to heal her. She looked up with one eye the other closed as she felt the bullet escape her shoulder.
He nodded slowly and looked at the bullet, putting it in his pocket before stitching the wound close with his magic again. “You gonna be okay..?”
She winced as she felt the stitching of the wound. “I-I’ll be fine. It’s only a flesh wound” she said and laughed. Before she slowly stood up with her good arm. Her other arm still sore
