okay, but I don’t think people realize that moana and hiccup are similar in many ways. they’re both kids of the chief, they love their island, they both believe that the things that their people fear (crossing the reef and dragons) aren’t as dangerous as they seem, they’re descended from warriors, and most of all, they both face obstacles and never give up, even at their lowest point.

These Moana/Httyd parallels/similarities are becoming the reason I smile.
