Elsa nearly jumped when Mr. gold laughed but she tried to remain calm. She smiled hesitantly before walking over to his counter. “I found this box. In my room back in Arendelle. Anna has me on leave to relax. She thinks I’m getting overwhelmed” she almost huffed a cloud of ice from the frustration at the situation. But pushed it aside. “The thing is Mr. Gold. Though I recognize the box and it does feel quite familiar along with the person who must’ve given it to me. My memory is hazy around who that person might be” she said as she pulled the box out and delicately placed it on the old counter. “I just need to know if you can tell me who made it. Or whom I can go to to find out more about this box” she explained.

Mr gold listened to her words, growing more intruiged. Her situation seems eerily similiar to his previous customer. “Forgotten memory, a box you say.” He clattered his fingers on the counter waiting until the box came in view and he took it before she even put it on the counter. He fiddled with it in his hands, his eyes narrowing until he opened the box. “It is..” he paused for a moment. “Ah, here we go” he pressed a small level on the inside of the box which popped up another layer, and beneath that the very inside of the box was a wooden fox necklace.

“Did you know this was in here? This is quite..marvelous” he raised a brow. “It has a bond here. There seems to be..a familiarity to it.” He took out the necklace twirling it infront of his face. “Yes yes..hand carved. Both the box and this necklace..were made by the same person” He grinned just then, a idea forming but he would hold it for later. “I had a person just moments ago with the same as you. Recalling dreams of someone she doesn’t know, memories that seem rather deserted. You see in storybrooke, there was a curse. That curse is broken when- oh you will figure out soon enough” he clapped his hands and put the necklace in the box.

She watched his excitement and as he opened the box with the lever she went wide eyed in surprise. “I-I think I knew about it…..” she said. It was another thing she was feeling fuzzy on. As he explained to her the story of Storybrooke she held her hand up and sighed.

Elsa put her hand down and spoke, “I know the story of Storybrooke Mr. Gold. I didn’t forget that. Since the whole my Aunt the Snow Queen and trying to use me and Emma. I didn’t forget” she said and as he closed the box she looked up at him. “Who was this Woman?” She asked. She took the box and placed it back into her bag.

He twisted his lips in a pouted smile listening to her but refraining from answering, atleast until he worked out the plan in his head.“ahh yes, I had almost forgotten your aunt who nearly tried to destroy our beloved town” He snorted, half scolding. “How foolish of me to have…forgotten” he raised a brow once again conemplating something and fter a long moments pause he finally spoke.

“The one you wish to seek, is one shrouded in mystery. Find the girl who is unknown yet not new; the one neither dark nor light good nor evil.” His fingers tapped the counter as he told her his riddle. “The dawn of the era as the moon rises. Youll find the answers hidden in this riddle” He laughed just then with a devilish smile. “Just be careful deary..I always get what I want…and what I want..” his voice rang so low, almost a unheard whisper. “Is what she possesses” he returned the gesture with a smile and his voide returned to normal. “Now go. This one is free, but next time..there will be a bargain- a deal. I only give this once. Now leave me, much to do much to do!” He clapped his hands.

Elsa listened closely to his riddle mildly puzzled still. I thought in this “modern” world there’d be less riddles. She thought to herself. But as he mentioned he’d wanted something from the woman she gave a glare. But kept quiet.

When he told her it was a freebie she nodded, “Thank you Mr. Gold….” she said and turned on her heel and walked out of the shop. When she exited she paused and breathed out. “He is just as strange as the trolls are.” She mumbled. She walked down the step. When her wedged sandal hit the pavement she paused. She felt eyes at the back of her head and she turned to look around. Trying to spot whomever it was watching her. But she didn’t see anything after a moment. And breathed out. Before she looked into her bag and then proceeded to head back to the diner.
