Elsa nearly jumped when Mr. gold laughed but she tried to remain calm. She smiled hesitantly before walking over to his counter. “I found this box. In my room back in Arendelle. Anna has me on leave to relax. She thinks I’m getting overwhelmed” she almost huffed a cloud of ice from the frustration at the situation. But pushed it aside. “The thing is Mr. Gold. Though I recognize the box and it does feel quite familiar along with the person who must’ve given it to me. My memory is hazy around who that person might be” she said as she pulled the box out and delicately placed it on the old counter. “I just need to know if you can tell me who made it. Or whom I can go to to find out more about this box” she explained.

Mr gold listened to her words, growing more intruiged. Her situation seems eerily similiar to his previous customer. “Forgotten memory, a box you say.” He clattered his fingers on the counter waiting until the box came in view and he took it before she even put it on the counter. He fiddled with it in his hands, his eyes narrowing until he opened the box. “It is..” he paused for a moment. “Ah, here we go” he pressed a small level on the inside of the box which popped up another layer, and beneath that the very inside of the box was a wooden fox necklace.

“Did you know this was in here? This is quite..marvelous” he raised a brow. “It has a bond here. There seems to be..a familiarity to it.” He took out the necklace twirling it infront of his face. “Yes yes..hand carved. Both the box and this necklace..were made by the same person” He grinned just then, a idea forming but he would hold it for later. “I had a person just moments ago with the same as you. Recalling dreams of someone she doesn’t know, memories that seem rather deserted. You see in storybrooke, there was a curse. That curse is broken when- oh you will figure out soon enough” he clapped his hands and put the necklace in the box.

She watched his excitement and as he opened the box with the lever she went wide eyed in surprise. “I-I think I knew about it…..” she said. It was another thing she was feeling fuzzy on. As he explained to her the story of Storybrooke she held her hand up and sighed.

Elsa put her hand down and spoke, “I know the story of Storybrooke Mr. Gold. I didn’t forget that. Since the whole my Aunt the Snow Queen and trying to use me and Emma. I didn’t forget” she said and as he closed the box she looked up at him. “Who was this Woman?” She asked. She took the box and placed it back into her bag.

He twisted his lips in a pouted smile listening to her but refraining from answering, atleast until he worked out the plan in his head.“ahh yes, I had almost forgotten your aunt who nearly tried to destroy our beloved town” He snorted, half scolding. “How foolish of me to have…forgotten” he raised a brow once again conemplating something and fter a long moments pause he finally spoke.

“The one you wish to seek, is one shrouded in mystery. Find the girl who is unknown yet not new; the one neither dark nor light good nor evil.” His fingers tapped the counter as he told her his riddle. “The dawn of the era as the moon rises. Youll find the answers hidden in this riddle” He laughed just then with a devilish smile. “Just be careful deary..I always get what I want…and what I want..” his voice rang so low, almost a unheard whisper. “Is what she possesses” he returned the gesture with a smile and his voide returned to normal. “Now go. This one is free, but next time..there will be a bargain- a deal. I only give this once. Now leave me, much to do much to do!” He clapped his hands.

Elsa listened closely to his riddle mildly puzzled still. I thought in this “modern” world there’d be less riddles. She thought to herself. But as he mentioned he’d wanted something from the woman she gave a glare. But kept quiet.

When he told her it was a freebie she nodded, “Thank you Mr. Gold….” she said and turned on her heel and walked out of the shop. When she exited she paused and breathed out. “He is just as strange as the trolls are.” She mumbled. She walked down the step. When her wedged sandal hit the pavement she paused. She felt eyes at the back of her head and she turned to look around. Trying to spot whomever it was watching her. But she didn’t see anything after a moment. And breathed out. Before she looked into her bag and then proceeded to head back to the diner.

Mr gold followed her out, putting the sign on the door that said ‘closed’. “Farewell Elsa, do take care now.” He clicked the lock, the store was now closed. He had much to do and so little time before his plan would fall through. With a cackle, he ran to the back of his room.

Era finally moved from behind the side of the building. She had been staring at the window the entire time. Something was clicking in her mind but she..couldnt place it. When she saw the woman walk to the front, she knelt down by the stairs as the woman walked down. She was shrouded in the shadow, and as the clouds still covered the sky, only one looking straight at her would see her crouched down. She stared at her for a time, watching her almost trip..biting her lip but refrained from standing. When she looked her way, she froze instantly, not moving..not hoping to be noticed. But her eyes were..mezmorizing if even only for a second- until she recovered herself and the woman pressed on. “I’ll follow her..” she said softly, pulling on her hood to cover her head, the shadow beneath the hood covered her face so she would not ge seen nor recognized.

She followed her, staying a lengthy distance behind her, all the while having a headache. She felt like this had happened before..glimaces of it traced her mind but she tried to ignore it to not let her head cause her more pain. She pressed onwards, occasionally darting in between buildings but even with her being stealthy- she lost her for a moment caught up in a haze. She quickly darted from behind the building but her footing tripped in a pothole in the side walk- and she tumbled down..right infront of the woman she was trying to follow.

Elsa got a chill at Golds words.

As she kept walking down the street she sighed she’d pulled the necklace out and cuddled with it in her hand as she walked. She kept looking over every detail. Every carved line and mark. And she huffed. Her mind drawing a blurry blank around the silhouette of a short woman.

She kept walking and took a turn and traced her steps back all the way to the diner. She stepped inside looking for Ruby or someone she’d know. It’d been about an hour since she’d been at the diner last. As she stepped inside the looked around.

Era quickly got to her feet before the woman noticed her fall flat on her face. “Dammit” she scolded herself and brushed off her knees, looking around to see where the woman was walking. She saw her stop at the diner, and head inside. She blinked several times and sucked in a breathe of air, Contemplating on what to do.

Inside the Diner, Ruby was sitting next to dorothy at the counter. Granny was serving them of course, but the only other two in the dinner besides them was henry and regina who were tucked in a booth by the window talking. Ruby’s ears perked up the moment Elsa stepped inside and she spun around to face her. “ Elsa!” She smiled big, her hand still entertwined with dorothy’s who turned to look at the girl as well, “elsa, this is dorothy” she smiled big, but it was dorothy who patted the empty seat next to her, signaling her to sit beside her.

“Ruby here was just mentioning you. The snow queen, I recall. Can you really do the thing?” Dorothy rang out, but nothing could suprise her now. The fact that Elsa could control Ice and well all things winter was just interesting. “Come, sit, sit. We dont bite.”

“Much..“Ruby grumpled playfully and nudged Dorothy who was grinning.

Outside the dinner, Era finally had enough of standing by. She might be shy but..if she was going to live in this town and be accepted..if or not more than her own pack at home- well hopefully more, she would have to be acqauinted with the people in it. Swallowing her pride she pushed the door open, but her hood was still up.

It was ruby who instantly recognized her and she nearly choked sucking her drink through the straw. But Era too, noticing Elsa sitting beside dorothy, swallowed hard before taking a seat next to Ruby.

Elsa smiled at the happy couple, “Hey, nice to meet you Dorothy” she said and took her hand and shook it with a delicate and powerful grip when she let go she placed her hands in her lap. She laughed at Dorothy’s comment, “The Snow Queen was my Aunt…..I am more of an “Ice Queen”” She said with a small laugh.

When the woman asked if she could do the thing she gulped, “Here” She said with a small almost hesitant smile. She held the glass that belonged to Dorothy she assumed and with little effort the drink began to freeze. Even making a puff of icy crystals float out of the glass from the pressure of change in the substance. “That proof enough?” She teased softly.

Elsa noticed Ruby seemed to almost choke on her drink and she turned to see a woman walk towards the table. And take a seat. Elsa went wide eyed and looked at Ruby, then the girl, “Wh-who are you?” She asked and placed her hands in her lap again.

Era kept her head low, her face hidden under her hood but was listening intently to everyone speaking. Her heart was thudding in her chest though, the smells swarming in her senses was enough to make her dizzy- but more so..a feeling of deja vu again. She did turn though, but only her nose down could be seen, her eyes and the rest of her face was hidden.

Ruby saw what she could do earlier, but this was unique. Shed never seen her actually freeze a drink before. “Elsa..you are incredible. Im glad you are on our side or we’d be in trouble” she giggled at the thought.

Era stares in amazement too, her mouth forming a ‘o’ but she did not speak- the only sound she made is when Elsa loomed over asking who she was. She could feel her heart thud hard against her chest and she let out a soft gasp.

Ruby did stare at them both, anaylzing era before looking to Elsa. She could hear her friends breathing grow slightly rapid, leaving her eyebrow raised. “Elsa, Dorothy, I’d like you both to meet Era.” Her voice was slightly low, as to not let regina or henry hear- everyone normally is frantic when new people enter storybrooke..especially another creature like herself.

She smiled at the smaller woman “Era? That’s a really beautiful name” She mumbled. Her head started to go a bit fuzzy as soon as she said that.

She held her hands to her head and felt weak suddenly. “I don’t feel good…..” she said softly and gripped the table and tried to stand up. But her legs gave out. She crumbled back into her seat and fell against Dorothy. Her head pounding. Her hand that gripped the table started to cause the table to ice over. Freezing all the food and drinks too in the process. She gasped in pain. Things were trying to rush back into her mind but the wall that kept the memories back felt like a giant migraine. She suddenly couldn’t take it anymore. She blacked out.

Era’s face blushed dark red, and that was clearly visible even if her eyes were covered. “Elsa..t-thank you..” Her voice was soft and sounded more of a hum..but she stuttered slightly as she spoke. her head was swirming and a vision was passing through it but she couldnt place it.

She felt something, and she gripped the ends of her hood and lowered it slowly, her eyes were pratically glowing a burnt orange like orange. Her hair was half pulled up starting from the very top of her hair that ended in a braid going down to her shoulders- but her hood though down, couldn’t be seen. Her bangs were side swept and taken mostly to the left side. The back of her hair was defiantely longer than the front, but the front portion still went just above her collar bone, the rest laying down on both shoulders going just beyond where her breast plate ended.

Her eyes widened when Elsa spoke and suddenly collapsed onto dorothy, who quickly picked her up off the chair and sat down with her on the floor. Elsa’s head resting in dorothy’s lap. “Ruby, what’s happening?” She asked frantically.

Era jumped down from her stool immediately, kneeling right beside Elsa. “Elsa..why..no..not time for that. Elsa, wake up..please…” She whimpered and she hestitated for a moment until she fought hard. “Dorothy..let me take her..please..” the desperate look in her eyes was enough to convince Dorothy to put elsa’s head in her lap instead. “I..watched her, with the ice. Enough heat could possibly wake her up..” she bite her bottom lip, hard enough to draw blood. “Think Era..” memories were bursting in her head, causing her body to suddenly become heated.

As dorothy and Ruby watched with unknowing what to do- Era was cupping Elsa’s cheeks, pressing her forehead to her’s. Her face was getting redder from the contact with Elsa but she disregarded that. “Oh..please wake up…Elsa.. your name is beautiful too..j-j-just like you” she whispered in her ear. “I feel like I know you….”

Elsa was ice cold. She felt everything pressing onto her mind. Everything rushing in. As Era touched her she felt heat a lot of heat.

The wall was breaking. She felt against her head a familiar heat to what hugged her body. “I-I……” She stuttered. As Era spoke that last line the wall started to break. “Era……the fox….” she spoke. She started to relax some. “You were hurt.” She said softly. Her head still pounding into her ears.

She slowly felt the heat around her breathing began to calm down. Her ice started to thaw from the table and from where its started to grow on the floor around her, thawed.
