A merchant ship docks in the Arrendalle port. The ports were full of merchants…and people seeking the creatures rumored to recently inhabit the mountains. Many have gone missing.
One of the passengers exits the ship wearing a simple traveler’s garb and inly a calvary saber on his side. His bag seems to be the heaviest part about him. If one were to go through it, they’d find weapons and armor that makes Arrendale’s seem cheap.
He enters the city, lighting a cigarette.
Elsa was working in her study, she’d just been made aware of some new trade ships having arrived. And there were some people of the village wanting to talk to her and had questions. She nodded and decided to go out into the town. It was winter so she was in her warmer dark blue dress. Anna and christoph had left on a date earlier in the day. So Elsa simply had an escort join her as she went into the village.
The trader notes what he assumes to be some official of some sort. He smiles and makes way, bowing in respect. He hoped to avoid being asked about details of his life, though he had the papers and story.
Elsa paused looking at the man. She noticed he’s different from many of the others who usually come here to visit or travel. He did not seem like either type. Initially she bowed in return. Then spoke up, “Where are you coming from?” She asked him.
