Headcanon that after they’re married for a couple years, Hiccup and Astrid get so used to having someone to cuddle with at night that when Hiccup goes to his Chief meetings and Astrid can’t come along because of the kids, he cuddles with Toothless and she lets the babies into her bed to cuddle.
