Abigail however caught up to her and took her hand. “Aww come on. Just because I can fight, doesn’t mean I don’t need you. I need your help a lot, especially to survive in this world I am unfamiliar with,” she said while smiling at her. “I also enjoy spending time with you and being with you.”
She then blushed with what she said, unaware she is still holding her hand. Her soft hand. “I mean…its not often I meet someone normal who wants to spend time with me without asking so much about my father or just to use my inventions.”
Astrid attempted to keep a straight face as Abigail grabbed her hand. She felt a warmth in her cheeks but she tried to keep serious, “no no you made it clear you’re strong enough you don’t need me~” she teased.
As the woman commented anout not being like everyone else she smiled just a touch. “I mean why should I care about those things?” She asked her. Turning to look her in the eyes
“I know, but back home it was rare for me to find people who did care about those things,” said Abigail as she is glad her friends weren’t like that. “That’s why I am glad to meet you and spend time with someone who is awesome…” she blushed a little bit when she tried to clear her throat.
“I also think I haven’t made myself clear enough that I do need you and want to be with you” said Abigail as she kept her hand grasp to her hand.
Astrid smiles and eventually laughed some, “Well then I’m glad we met.” She said happily. She noticed they were still holding hands and she smiled awkwardly and squeezed it as she continued to guide her up the hill to her home. “And I’ll be around as long as you need me” She added.
Night came as Abigail went to stay with Astrid. She kept fighting those thoughts about forming feelings for Astrid. Mostly because she isn’t sure how this will turn out, especially if she finds her way home. Still, once they fell asleep she managed to get through this.
Once morning came she got up early and leaves a message to Astrid she will be working on her suit. If she needed anything to let her know. Once she got to her suit she begins working on it. A shame this world hasn’t invented coffee yet…she was in need of some caffeine.
Astrid slowly woke up. Rubbing her eyes she decided to grab a quick bite. She saw the note and smiled. Deciding to let her work and not bother her, at least till after she did some training. And with that she went to the training arena. Walking through the village and even passed the armory
Abigail is glad to find she is making some progress. Sure, she knew her suit won’t be able to get her home, but if she can fix her beacon then her friends can find her. However, its going to need a little bit of fixing. No problem for her as she managed to get the suit to work better now.
She spots Astrid walking by and sees her heading somewhere. Curiosity got the better of her as she begins following her. She made sure her suit would not be used by anyone and goes after the blonde Viking.
Astrid went into the deep level with the ground structured dome. As she went inside she stretched her arms out in front of her. Did some punched as a warmup and then grabbed her axe and began some of the routine obstacles and target practices.
