Abigail nods as she took her hand and shook it. “That was a lot of fun. Although, I usually train on padding. So, I’m going to be sore later when the adrenaline rush is gone,” she said as she moves her other hand up and moves her hair to the side. “You really are…” she stopped herself realizing what she is doing as she cleared her throat. “S-sorry I um didn’t mean to mess up your braids.”
Astrid holds the hand she shook and as she reached for Astrid’s hair, “it’s alright. No big deal” she said. Then Astrid flipped Abigail back onto the floor then laughed a bit. “See now we’re even” She spoke with a grin.
Abigail groaned a little when she didn’t expect her to flip her over and land on her back. Knocking the air out of her. “Cheap move…can’t breath,” she replied as she tried to get the air back in her.
((Maybe this can be around the part where they are told of an attack somewhere))
Astrid waited for her to catch her breath. Before giving a hand for her to use to pull herself up. And as she did so, fishlegs came into the Arena. “ASTRID! There’s a fire on the west side of the island” she says in a panic. Snotlout had come with him and noticed the two had been sparring. He glared almost at the bot of them.
Abigail is helped up just as someone came out shouting about a fire. She turns to Astrid to see if she needs help. “Want me to tag along to help out?” her suit may not be workable right now, but she knows a good way to put out fires.
Astrid looked at her. “It’s up to you. But don’t push yourself alright?” She said in a concerned tone. “Are you gonna fly or do you need a lift?” She asked her.
“I will need a lift. My suit isn’t ready for flying,” said Abigail as she grabs her shirt and puts it on. “I also would like to see how big the fire is. If its too big to put out with water then we can try using dirt to put it out.”
Astrid was familiar with the method and smiled. She whistles and Stormfly flew down only moments later. Landing in front of them. She pulled Abigail by the hand and lifted her up with her onto Stormfly’s back and they took off almost immediately
Abigail felt her pulling her on the back of the dragon as they took off flying. She held on making sure she doesn’t fall off again. She looks down to see where they are going until she sees some birds flying by. She sees where they came from and spots the fire.
“Looks like someone decided to to play with fire.”
Astrid watched the fire and nodded in agreement. “Do you see a source for the fire?” She asked and flew lower. Closer to the flames. She noticed Snotlout and Fishlegs joined her sides.
“Not yet,” said Abigail as she looks around. “It doesn’t look like there are any dragons around that could have done this. So, it must have been a human.”
Speaking of which, she spotted some humans nearby making their way to the coast. However, she noticed they weren’t wearing the same kind of clothing as the people of Berk. “Friends of yours?”
Astrid looked down and tried to look closer at the people beneath them. She didn’t initially recognize them. She nodded, “they’re not my friends” she said to the woman attached to her back.
“Well, if they are the cause of the fire we better round them up. If you want I will stop them and you focus on putting out the fires before they spread even more,” Abigail suggested wanting to stop these guys before they cause more fires to break out.
Astrid nodded, she flew in close enough for the woman to jump off, “Brace yourself” she said before she then took off leaving Abigail on the ground. Going to get a large water basket.
