Oscar sighs looking at the sky, he knew his best friend was coming soon and that he needed to plan this carefully if not the whole place was gonna turn into a giant sea. “Well let’s hope he will be glad to see me.” He says to Elsa noticing Anna was there too. [ heroesavertingacrisis ]
Elsa nodded in agreement and rubbed one of her arms. “You said he doesn’t like the cold?” She asked him. Knowing the winter solstice was right around the corner.
Anna looked at them both with a raised brow, “and who is this that’s visiting again?” She asked with her arms crossed and looking at them with suspicion. Elsa still hadn’t told her About Oscar’s “abilities” let alone the friend coming and his own.
Alex finished his meal and relaxes before burping sounded more like a squeak letting out a small fire making Oscar sweat.
“He…. has fire magic…..” He makes an excuse to Anna as Alex was going to complain but went with it.
“It helps with my cooking a lot”
Elsa approved of the excuse. And Anna suddenly spoke up, “So you could fight Elsa. With her Ice powers?” She asked with a raised brow.
“Well actually i….”
Alex feels at Oscar sudden killing intent as Alex laughs a little. “Not really my powers just work on some stoves.” He says laughing as Oscar calms down.
Elsa breathed out. Now was not the time for any sort of panic about dragons. Powers was interesting enough. Elsa thought.
Alex was standing up after he was done eating his meal and scratches his head a little. “So I should go…. I have to know what they need to prepare for the ball.” He says laughing a little.
“The ball isn’t for three….” she thought about it. The winter solstice ball and celebration was a week long celebration. It started in 3 days with a introduction banquet and finished at the end of the week with a huge masked ball…..traditional. She started to panic.
Alex looks at Oscar with a slight glare and rub the bridge of his nose. “Puta madre…..” He mutters as he began getting from his bag a paper and pen then wrote everything he need and gives it to Oscar. “This is what I need, you got two days to get it.” He says in an honest tone while Oscar grabs it and stands up. “Gonna go use my connections to get everything.”
Elsa watches the two men stand and exchange words before parting in desperate directions. She smiled to the other two and then excused herself. She had only days left to finish getting ready. She thought.
Once Oscar was done, he could only wait as Alex was at the kitchen joking around with the other chefs while preparing the spice mixes to make the week long preparations
Elsa went to her study. Within the next couple days people begun to arrive. Most by boat. The Royalty and powerful people who showed would take up spaces in the inns and guest houses or rooms in the castle.
NIGHT OF THE BANQUET
Anna had gotten dressed in her normal winter garb. Only without the coat and cap. Her skirt changed to floor length rather then calf lank.
Elsa wore her formal dark blue dress. She had already finished getting ready and was going around checking the food Alex had made for the evening.
Alex looks at Elsa with a slight serious expression before giving her spare muffin that was left in the kitchen. “So you can control yourself queen Elsa.” He says in a teasing manner as he decided to go for a much more national food took him time to learn but he managed.
Oscar meanwhile was looking at his clothes taking a deep breath taking his time to look good for Elsa.
Elsa took the muffin and smiled “Thank you” she said and took a bite. “Did you make the traditional chocolate from our regions recipes and dishes?” She asked him. Her and Anna’s obsession with chocolate was almost unbelievable.
“Yeah took me a while to learn and somethings as well eliminate some thoughts.” E says laughing a little ignoring the thoughts of seeing anna in less clothing than she should but he wouldn’t say it even he wouldn’t be that honest. “But I tried for this meal to be good and perfect.” He says with a gentle smile.
She looked at him and smiled. “You’ve done a wonderful job” she said to him simply. Walking passed the dishes looking them over.
“You’ll be joining us at the banquet won’t you?” She asked him. She did have plans to introduce him and Oscar at the dinner.
“Thank you.” He syasbsmolinh gently at her while scratches his neck a bit. “Well sadly I rather stay in the kitchen, never been someone who likes to be in the center” he says laughing a little.
“You should at least join us for a bit. Anna may need the company. Christoph is out on a trip for me. So aside from me She’ll hardly know anyone” she explained to him. Not quite aware he had an attraction to her own little sister
