Cyrus worked in Hogwarts, in the Charms departments taking over classes for Professor Flitwick if the poor guy had other things to do. He was one of the recent addition to the Hogwarts staff in the recent years and he had taken on classes before as an understudy to Flitwick. He was also joining with Madam Hootch and Professor Sprout to help with Hufflepuff House’s Quidditch team.
He was informed by Mcgonagall that the new class he was to handle was a pretty prone to loud outbursts and arguments, especially one child, Jackie. He had set himself up in the classroom and used several levitation spells to move books around the classroom, sorting them by alphabetical order in the shelves and along the tables.
By the time he was done, the first few students had begun streaming in. “Ah, perfect, please, take your seats, it’s free seating of course.”
“Well, from what I hear, your house mates will be over after their classes. I just thought you deserved to have some company.” He said and smiled, leaning in to kiss her forehead. “Is the food good?”
She smiled at the thought her housemates would be checking on. Probably Jinx to from Slytherin. They were best friends.
But her thoughts he muddled when he kissed her forehead, “I-I…..uh…..t-th-th-the f-food is g-great” she said looking up at him he’d thrown her off. Causing Her stutter to worsen. She could feel the “knots” in her tongue. And the struggle to say a cohesive sentence. She shook her head. “Th-thank y-you” She said to him.
He chuckled softly and smiled, just gently stroking her head, purring quietly before sitting back down.
“I best be going, gotta let you rest before your friends come crashing in and tiring you out. I’ll come again during dinner yeah? We can eat together~” He said and smiled, raising a questioning eyebrow to her, waiting for her reply
She watched him sit back down and she looked at him in shock and awe. “Y-you’d do that?” She interjected before he stared at her waiting for a response. She then shook off the blush she could feel starting and nodded as he stood up, “I-I-I’d like th-that a l-l-lot” She said to him.
Suddenly a velvet red head in a slitherin tie, button up and pleated skirt. Her velvet red hair curled and her eyes were platinum. “JACKIE!” She yelled out and hurried to the blonde witch’s side. She kissed her forehead and looked her over, before she said anything more she looked and saw the professor. “Oh…..hey Professor… what brings you up here? Did Jackie start a fight in class or something.” She asked with a small smile.
