Astrid wasn’t too far away from the male. She was son a walk surveying the area from ground level today. She walked the beach’s sand. Looking around for any signs of dragon hunters.
The man began to walk around the beach a bit. He soon spots his katana lying in the sand, still in it’s sheath. “Huh, thought I lost you for a minute there.” He said, picking up the katana and strapping it to his back. “Now to find out where I am.”
Astrid continued walking when suddenly she spotted the guy from a ways away. She looked, then grabbed her axe. She was cautious but approached the guy. When she noticed he had a weapon she got into more of a defensive stance. “Can I help you?” She asked. Stormfly staying close behind her.
The individual nearly jumped when he heard her, he quickly turned around and looked at her. “Yes, actually. I was wondering if you could… Tell… Me… Where…” He came to a full pause, staring at the Deadly Nadder.
Astrid looked at him. “Help you with what?” She asked in a defensive tone. “This is Stormfly. She will attack if I find you are a threat. Let’s hope you’re not” She said to him.
“R-right, sorry.” He apologized, before giving the Nadder now known as Stormfly one last look, then looked back at Astrid. “I was wondering if you could tell me where I am? I seemed to have somehow washed up upon shore.”
Astrid crossed her arms looking the man over, “You’re on the far side of the island of Berk. Home to the Hooligan Tribe. How’d you even manage to get here?” She asked him. It was odd to get strangers washing up on the beach
“I… I think I was on a boat, fighting someone.” He said, bringing a hand up to his forehead, trying to remember. “Then… Something attacked the ship, making it sink. I… Can’t remember much, the rest is a little fuzzy…”
She looked at him, “seems you’re not lying. At least for now. I’ll take you back to Berk. We will have Gothi take a look at you” She said to him.
The man nodded. “Yeah, we should do that. The name is Crimson by the way. Got the name because of the eyes.” He said, rubbing the back of his head.
“My name is Astrid….Astrid Hofferson.” She said to him. She got onto the back of Stormfly. “Come on…..this’ll be the fastest way” she said and reached her hand out to him.
Crimson seemed a little hesitant at first. He first looked at Stormfly, then back at Astrid. “Alright.” Crimson said, nodding. He grabbed her hand.
She lifted him with ease into the dragon. She had him sit behind her. “I take it you’ve never rode a dragon before?” She asked him
