A merchant ship docks in the Arrendalle port. The ports were full of merchants…and people seeking the creatures rumored to recently inhabit the mountains. Many have gone missing.
One of the passengers exits the ship wearing a simple traveler’s garb and inly a calvary saber on his side. His bag seems to be the heaviest part about him. If one were to go through it, they’d find weapons and armor that makes Arrendale’s seem cheap.
He enters the city, lighting a cigarette.
“I need the doctor NOW” she said as she hunched over some. Befor they knew it Blake already had the doctor at her side. Elsa moved off the aircraft and Blake and the Doctor helped her inside into the first room they could get to. Sitting her on the couch the doctor went into examining the Queen. The pain had stopped butbshe was worried none the less.
Crispin was pacing the room, clearing flipping out.
When the doctor finished he asked everyone but crispin and Elsa to leave. When they were alone he explained, “Elsa is fine. Both the babies are fine. But the use of your powers, Elsa, caused a significant amount of stress on the body. You can not be using your powers in excess you could lose the kids that way. Also we need to keep her as safe as possible. She can’t be going through the trauma of Kidnappings or people coming after her. Though it’s inevitable. Too much stress can also be a bad thing” He explained and looked at Crispin. Then at Elsa.
Crispin sighed, “So martial law must remain for their safety.” He was stone cold now.
“Crispin! You can’t just keep it imposed!” She said in defense. “What are you going to keep me locked in my own home next?” She asked. The doctor felt the sudden defensive tension from Elsa and excused himself from the room.
“If that’s what it takes, then yes. If I must. I do not want to have to do it, Elsa.”
She sat up and looked at him, “I am the Queen. I’m not going to be locked up in my own home. I’m not going to hide behind locked doors. I did that enough in my life already.” She said and stood up.
“Then martial law will remain. I want you and my children safe.” Crispin is not budging.
“They will be safe! I know you’ll keep us safe. But we also have to think of the trades and getting our supplies. And they got into the castle without a word. They completely took me by surprise. How do you plan to stop that?” She asked him. She walked closer to him.
“Everything coming in is searched and searched again. Anything gets closer than the line of ships, it gets sunk. Period. Fly in? Shot down. No ifs ands or buts.”
She nods “and you can’t cut us off like this. What if you blow up the wrong ship hmmm?” She asked. She started to pace. She looked down at her bump. “Side note. You may have to be doing more public’s speeches in the nearing future.” She looked at him though still stressing and pacing.
Crispin whimpered, blushing and covering his mouth.
“Yea. Since you’re locking this place down. Then you’re right….I can’t risk going out there. In which case you’ll have to do a lot of the speeches and announcements. We have to announce the pregnancy…..” she said and looked at him a subtle smirk imbedded in her calm expression.
He sighs, “I’m gonna need help. I can’t write speeches.”
“You could just lighten up your grasp. Until you propose to me….I’m the Queen. I do have some control and choice in how my country is rubbed. We will work on it together” she said and softened her expression. She cupped his cheek with one hand.
“Fine. Things will still be searched a few times.” He hated relenting, but he loved her.
“And no shooting down ships. At least not without my permission” she said to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck. “So off the subject of that. Where were you on your adventure?” She asked him.
