Jack was surprised at how easily she gave in and he looked at her “Really?” He stood up and walked down “Then you and I have a lot to talk about. First.. your men need to leave. We cant ride a boat to the sea. But your dragon might be able to pull them to the edge of the ice… But your men need to take an oath not to tell anyone about this place. We dont want dragon hunters to find this place.”
He nudged his head and the guards lifted her to her feet “Do you agree to my terms?” His face had gone serious and his features was pale and cold. Jack had not been a ruler for long, but he was a pretty strong one at that.
Astrid pulled her arms away from the men. “Fine. I will take them out to sea.” She said with disdain in her voice. “I agree to your terms” she added. Her eyes had an equally cold and serious look. She turned around. And begun to walk away knowing very well she’d be carefully watched. “I will tell them not to say anything. But I can’t garauntee they’ll stay away. Berk is an island of dragon riders” She added as the guards took her to lead the berkians to their ship
Jacks general was right behind her.
“now, can you instruct you dragon to take your men home? you wont be riding her out to sea after all” the woman added with a stern voice as she was opening the chains on the other female warriors arms.
Astrid glared at the woman. “I don’t know. I can ask or tell her to do all kinds of things but she doesn’t always listen.” She spoke. She looked at Stormfly Who nearly tackled her, nuzzling her. Cooing and garbling in excitement at see her dragon rider.
Astrid after a few moments was able to stand up. “Why don’t you or you “Leader” join me. Stormfly can carry the weight of three people so she shouldn’t have any problems carrying you.” She said to be an insult.
