A merchant ship docks in the Arrendalle port. The ports were full of merchants…and people seeking the creatures rumored to recently inhabit the mountains. Many have gone missing.
One of the passengers exits the ship wearing a simple traveler’s garb and inly a calvary saber on his side. His bag seems to be the heaviest part about him. If one were to go through it, they’d find weapons and armor that makes Arrendale’s seem cheap.
He enters the city, lighting a cigarette.
Out of everything she read she was most definitely horrified. But it did not make her fear crispin. Didn’t make her want to change her mind. But she was activated he wouldn’t just be honest. Save the trouble.

NEXT MORNING
Crispin wakes up, finding the folder gone. He looks around.
Elsa was in her study. She’d tucked the folder in a place only she knew about. She was upset at Crispin. She hadn’t really slept at all that night so when morning came she went to her study. Knowing crispin would come to find her to take the folder.
Crispin bursts into the study, “The folder’s gone!” He is sweating and sporting a black eye on his left eye.
“It’s in a safe place. And Why on earth do you have a black eye?” She asked him standing up from her desk. She went to get a closer look at his face. “Did you fight one of the girls?” She asked. Putting off the folder subject.
“More like walked in on Weiss and Ruby.” He winces as Elsa touches it. “I regret teaching Ruby hand to hand.”
Elsa looks at him and and rolls her eyes. A small chuckle escapes her lips. “You need to knock.” She said to him.
