Crimson was on the train, it was his first year going to Hogwarts Academy and he couldn’t help but feel nervous. He looked down at his wand, his wand was an 11" Blood wood with Manticore Barb Core. He placed his wand away as he was looking for somewhere to sit. He looked into a nearby booth to see someone along with an open. “Um, excuse me? Sorry to disturb you, but is it alright if I sit here?” He asked.
“A-are you m-mocking m-me?” She teased him to lighten the mood. She hugged him tight to comfort him it must’ve been hard to be in his position.
Crimson sighed and hugged her back, burying his face into her shoulder.
She brushed her hand through his hair. “Merry Christmas by the way” she said to him.
He looked at her and let out a small smile. “Merry Christmas, Jackie.”
CHRISTMAS BREAK CAME TO AN END AND STUDENTS STARTED TO ARRIVE BACK AT HOGWARTS.
Jackie was excited to get her other best friend back today. Since that’s when Jinx had written she’d be back.
Crimson was excited as well. He was dancing around happily as he shot out only small fireworks from his wands.
Jackie sent a firework toward Crimson. “You shouldn’t dance like that you look ridiculous she joked with him.
“Right, sorry.” He rubbed the back of his neck before his eyes widen in realization. “Hey, you didn’t stutter that time!”
She smiled. Not shocked. “S-sometimes when I’m r-really focused on s-something….it j-just goes away” she explained. It happens during Quidditch too.
“Wow, that’s really cool!” Crimson exclaimed, smiling. “I can’t wait to see Jinx when she gets here!”
Jackie nodded in agreement and right as she did so Jinx walked into the great hall where they were hanging at. Jackie smiled. “JINX!” She called out and it made the red head hurry over.
Crimson smiled in excitement and ran over, he hugged Jinx. “Jinx! It’s so great to see you again!” Crimson exclaimed.
Jinx hugged him then hugged Jackie. Finally home. She thought to herself
Crimson then began to fire off fireworks from his wand in excitement. “Celebration for Jinx returning! Hahaha!” He laughed happily.
Jackie joined in the fun till suddenly Snape entered the room. “MS. ABERNATHY! What is it I see you and your friends doing?!” He asked as he walked towards then. Jackie stopped fireworks and made Crimson do the same. Jinx looks at Snape. “I’m sorry Professor…..it’s just us having some fun.” She explained and he huffed before moving on
Crimson gulped lightly once Snape was out of earshot. “I completely forgot on how scary Professor Snape can be..” He muttered. Snape being his least favorite teacher.
Jinx laughed a bit at his statment. “He’s not that bad ya know?” She asked.
Jackie nodded, “Eh I don’t know if I believe that” she said with a questionable expression.
Crimson shrugged. “Still though, it’s great to see you back, Jinx.” Crimson said, smiling at her.
“It’s good to be back…..I missed you guys” She said to them. Jackie hugged them both.
And with that…. Classes soon started again. As it did they became a great help to Potter, Weasley and Granger. Helping with covering for them, learning new spells and getting into a bit of mischief themselves. As the year began to conclude Harry and his friends wound up getting into an adventure of true danger and having survived it Jackie, Jinx and Crimson were going to meet Harry in the Hopsital Wing.
