Jack was surprised at how easily she gave in and he looked at her “Really?” He stood up and walked down “Then you and I have a lot to talk about. First.. your men need to leave. We cant ride a boat to the sea. But your dragon might be able to pull them to the edge of the ice… But your men need to take an oath not to tell anyone about this place. We dont want dragon hunters to find this place.”

He nudged his head and the guards lifted her to her feet “Do you agree to my terms?” His face had gone serious and his features was pale and cold. Jack had not been a ruler for long, but he was a pretty strong one at that.

Astrid smirked as she saw the General glare. She looked at the chief as he approached. The change in his demeanor was almost staggering. But Hiccup could do the same himself.

She shook the thought off and looked at him, “Her name is Stormfly.” She pointed out. The dragon nuzzled Astrid before turning to look at Jack. She was a touch defensive at seeing him, but Astrid cratched her head, “It’s okay girl….he’s not gonna hurt you.” She spoke in a much softer tone then she’d been using. Stormfly understood and promptly neared towards the white haired man. She sniffed and examined him. Walking around him while making garbled noises.

Jack laughed softly as the dragon circled him. A soft smile on his face as he slowly held out his hand and slightly brushed her wing and then he pulled his hand back and looked at her in awe before the general clared her throat and pulled him out of his bubble of amazement.

“My cheif… We need to send the vikings off the ice, but we cant trust the sheild maiden to go by herself and neither can we send someone with her. How are we going to go on about this?”

Jack looked at Astrid and her dragon “My general do have a point. We cant yet trust you to keep your end of the bargan just yet… could one of your men ride her out to sea?”

She looked at them and glared. “You don’t trust to tie with me?” She said. Then clapped her hands. Stormfly ran to Astrid’s side guarding aroundthe rider. “You’ll put me on a boat…..” she said. “I just hope you realize the moment anyone hurts me is the moment she will have no hesitation in killing you” she said and specifically looked at the general.

“i would if there was any way of knowing you could come back over the ice, Its impossible to sail over but to thin to walk… i thought i told you that, so if your dragon pulls the boat with your men in it to the edge of the ice, im sure the boat wont get stuck.. but sailing back is impossible.”

The general glared back “you are an outlander, you really expect us to trust that you will keep your word? You got the choice! get your men out of here but you stay. Or execution of your tribesmen”

“Let me take you with me Chief…..I can promise on my honor and on my dragon I will bring you back. I will stay…..” she said in a more affirmative tone. She looked at the General. “And I made a decision. I care more about the people of Berk then breaking some deal.” She said sternly. “Join me” She said and looked at jack. The crew just came from the prison and were heading towards the ship already. They had been given instructions to tie ropes to the front so Stormfly could pull them.
