“Ow-” Ben Tennyson rubbed his head as the seventeen year old looked around his new surroundings. The young superhero was in one of his Alien forms known as XLR8 which was a dinosaur like alien with a long black and blue banded tail and wheels for feet. One minute he was fighting an alien and the next he was here. Whatever this island was. [For Astrid]
Astrid had been patrolling on an island not far from berk. When suddenly she saw something….appear? It was almost dragon like. But something was off. She’d already. Landed and was watching the creature closely from away.
Astrid looked at him, “Yea but I figured we’d want to marry before that….isn’t it tradition?” she asked and she looked down and saw toothless. Snotlout took the hatchlings from Ben and smiled, wishing for Ben to sleep well. and then excused himself. When he walked out he noticed Hiccup and Astrid talking about something, “SOOOO WHAT is the chief and chief’s girlfriend talking about?” he asked and Astrid jumped at his sudden appearance. “Uh….well I’m…” she stopped and looked at him. “I was telling him a joke about you dating a dragon” she teased with an awkward laugh.
“ Yeah Snotlout, I mean that’s pretty crazy. You of all people dating a dragon.” Hiccup laughed nervously as he rubbed the back of his head. The two hatchlings in Snotlout’s arms were wiggling around wanting to play as the Monstrous Nightmare hatchling lit itself on fire again with a squawked. “ Snotlout I have a feeling that Hookfang is the dad.” Hiccup said with a laugh.
Snotlout suddenly yelped as the baby monstrous nightmare lit on fire. Astrid helped him and took the night mare and the night furies “We should let them play on the ground for now.” She suggested.
Snotlout looked at them, “And I’m not dating a dragon!” He spoke in defense, “shut up Hiccup” he mumbled. Astrid breathed out as he missed over what they’d actually been talking about. She wanted to enjoy the news just with Hiccup for at least a day, she thought
“ You know Snotlout, it’s pretty obvious that Ben likes you.” Hiccup playfully teased his cousin, as he watched the hatchlings play. Hookfang was keeping a careful watch over his offspring looking mighty pleased with himself. The babies had Ben’s personality and his deep green eyes. Particularly the little female who was all rough and tumble like her sire Hookfang. She had some really pretty green markings on his snout that were the same color of the green on the Omnitrix.
Snotlout blushed not wanting to bring up the conversation him and Ben had just had inside, “Yea well maybe….” he said in a half assed response to Hiccup’s statement
Astrid watched the little dragon trying to rough house with her brothers. She laughed a bit. She looked at Hiccup, they’d have to talk more about her news later with more privacy.
Hiccup was enjoying watching the sun starting to set over Berk. In a way he realized it was the end of one chapter in their lives and another was about to begin. He was going to be a father with the women he had loved all his life. Ben had finally admitted his feelings to Snotlout’s starting the two’s journey as a couple. As the babies tired themselves the little female was showing off in front of Hookfang, as if she was trying to show she was a tough little Alpha
Astrid herself felt like everything was surreal and she couldn’t believe where they were. To think they once were fighting and killing the very creatures before her that Hiccup and the riders had grown bonds and a love for.
Snotlouts heart still fluttered knowing Ben liked him like how he liked Ben.
