Crimson was on the train, it was his first year going to Hogwarts Academy and he couldn’t help but feel nervous. He looked down at his wand, his wand was an 11" Blood wood with Manticore Barb Core. He placed his wand away as he was looking for somewhere to sit. He looked into a nearby booth to see someone along with an open. “Um, excuse me? Sorry to disturb you, but is it alright if I sit here?” He asked.
The nurses and Pompfrey and Jackie hurried to get Jinx out of the rain. That weekend Jinx spent it in the hospital weekend. Taking bone healing potions and resting. Several parts had ended up fractured and she had a few bruises here and there. She’d be fine definitely turned out better then Harry in his second year when he had no bones in his arm. But it was still a lot on the body. People would stop by throughout the weekend. Jinx generally would be resting. But people would leave cards or some candy.
On Sunday night, Crimson has the invisibility spell on and snuck into the Hospital Wing. He moved to Jinx’s bed and saw her asleep, Crimson sighed quietly and placed a basket of candy on her table, along with a card saying “I’m sorry.” Without his name on it. Afterwards, Crimson snuck out of the castle with his wand in hand, he had to think of a few things before coming back, he sighed to himself and walked into the forest.
Jinx woke up not too long after that and she looked at the table finding the basket and a card. She looked at it and read it. She was quite familiar with Crimsons hand writing and felt her heart flutter and her expression soften at seeing the “im sorry” though she was still upset.
Crimson felt that it was alright to be out of his invisibility spell. He continued on walking through the forest, he soon stopped and sat down on a log. He sighed to himself and brought his wand out. “Expecto Patronum.” He enchanted, and a blue light appeared in front of him, taking shape of a wolf. Crimson smiled a little bit and petted the wolf’s head. As the wolf disappeared, Crimson climbed up a tree on lied down on a branch, his eyes soon close as he falls asleep for the night.
Jinx didn’t know where he was. And it seemed to be the middle of the night. So with that, she yawned and let sleep envelop her. As Monday came around Pompfrey suggested she’d stay another day but Jinx refused in light of fearing what’d happen if she missed herclasses. And so Monday morning came and she stiffly and loosely tied her tie and did her shirt. After putting on her skirt and knee high Slitherin socks and her shoes she then met up with Jackie. Who had convinced a Slitherin girl to get her Jinx’s books and bag for class.
She was still extremely sore and she had a bandage on her wrist from her fall apparently sprained it. So she walked around slowly and stiffly but managed to make it to Botany alright where she sat next to a Victor Krum, and Jackie on her other side.
There were a few whispers among the Ravenclaw students. “Have you seen Crimson at all this morning?” One of them ask. “No, I haven’t seen him since last night.” The other answered. “I did see him sneaking out before I went to bed, but that was the last time I seen him since.” The third one explained.
Jinx heard their words and she had an expression of concern. She went to find Harry after botany. In hopes of using the muruaders map to track him down.
Jackie waved at Neville and smiled. Excited for her date with him later.
Neville smiled and blushed as he waved back at her. Harry was in the library with Ron and Hermione as they were going through a few books.
Jinx hurried to the library and tracked them down, “HARRY!” She exclaimed with a whisper. Hermione looked at her, “Why are you out of the hospital?! It’s too soon” she said and went up to the red head with worry and caution. “I need THE map so I can find Crimson. Apparently he’s been gone since last night.” She said to them.
Harry blinked in surprise, then he reached into his bag and fished out the map and handed it to her. “What do you mean he’s been gone?” Ron asked in confusion.
She unfolded it and slammed it on the table wincing when she bent over to look it over. Trying to locate a trace of him. “I dunno but people were talking about he went out last night and hasn’t been back since then…..” she said to them. “How’s training for that first challenge by the way?” She asked him.
Harry and Ron glanced at each other, then looked away from each other. “It’s going fine, other than that, how are your wounds?” Harry asked. On the map, it’s shows Crimson being in the woods, a little far from the castle.
She noticed the tension between them then looked at Hermoine, “What’s with them?” She asked.
She spotted him on the map, “What is that idiot doing?!” She asked out loud. She felt a little woozy and gripped the desk “and I’m fine. I can’t go missing class.” She said to them. “And I can’t go stir crazy thinking about idiot boys and their problems.” She explained.
