Crimson was on the train, it was his first year going to Hogwarts Academy and he couldn’t help but feel nervous. He looked down at his wand, his wand was an 11" Blood wood with Manticore Barb Core. He placed his wand away as he was looking for somewhere to sit. He looked into a nearby booth to see someone along with an open. “Um, excuse me? Sorry to disturb you, but is it alright if I sit here?” He asked.
She breathed in relief seeing Crimson. Her expression though still serious and upset softened some and she gave a half smile. “H-hey……” she said to him. Draco had run off his cronies followed with. Jinx felt the stiffness in her abdomen from moving so quickly just a few minutes before. She breathed out. “Heard you might’ve bailed on me. On us” she said and Jackie came to Jinx’s side and made sure she was alright.
Crimson looked at her, he breathed in, nearly on the verge of tears. “I’m sorry…” He suddenly said to her. “I’m so sorry, I left because I didn’t want to hurt you the way I did on the field.” Tears began to run down his cheeks. “But then I realized… I realized that I would just be hurting you again… I’m so sorry, Jinx. I never meant to give up on you… On us…” He said to her as he looked at the ground, tears dropping onto the concrete.
She didn’t say anything. She didn’t need to, she simply hugged him tightly and her cold expression seemed to melt into a subtle smile. She let him cry and after a moment pulled Jackie in with them. Hermoine smiled at the scene and joined with Harry.
Crimson hugged them both tight. He never wanted to let go as he continued to cry into Jinx’s shoulder.
After a while jinx pulled back and looked at the silver blonde haired boy. “You gonna be okay?” She asked him. Making sure his tears got wiped away
Crimson pulled back, sniffling a little bit. He looked at her and smiled, nodding his head in confirmation.
Jinx smiled some. Jackie hugged them both, “n-now if y-you excuse me. I-i think we have c-classes” Jackie pointed out. Jinx nodded in agreement.
Crimson smiled and nodded as well. “Right, let’s go!” He says as he began to walk beside Jinx to the next class.
As thugs started to settle into place between the three there also seemed to be a hum in the air as the day of the first challenge of the tournament came. Jinx was dressed in jeans and her favorite Slitherin sweater, she had a green scarf wrapped around her neck thick enough for her to nuzzle into. She was meeting Jackie at the field for the challenge but was supposed to stop and get Crimson from Ravenclaw tower first supposedly he was sleeping in.
True enough, Crimson was sleeping in. He snuggled into his pillow as he was having a strange dream of him and Jinx, though he was smiling.
Jinx sadly couldn’t enter the Ravenclaw wing. But she happened to spot a friend of hers who was going in. She asked that they go wake up Crimson by whatever mean necessary. She even suggested dumping some water on him. And when they nodded and left into Ravenclaw tower they did just that. Dropping water on Crimson. The Ravenclaw looked at Crimson. “Jinx sent me to wake you. Cause you’re gonna be late.” The student said and laughed as they walked away.
