The man gave a breathy laugh. “Your point? if you were even making an accurate point?” the man asked. Astrid rolled her eyes, arms crossed. She then began to watch Abigail. She was enticed and impressed by the seriousness the woman was playing.
Astrid looked at Abigail, “You’re really passionate about helping us…..you barely even know us” Astrid said sweetly. Her gaze softer. She looked down at the plans. “I can probably have the guards and first and second lines of defense active and on 24 hour watch to start to at least keep our sights on what may come after us.” She said simply.
Abigail turns to Astrid and smiles as she held her hand. “I do care about you all…” even though she cared a lot more for Astrid, but couldn’t say it. “It doesn’t matter if we just met and I don’t care if this is your world. I would still help you out no matter what.”
She smiled at her want and care for her and the riders. She hoped she’d have been more protective towards her. But they were strangers. But still she smiled at the woman’s words. “Well I’m glad. Cause I….we would do the same for you” She said to her.
Abigail nods as she turns to her suit and managed to get what she needed. She got the chest part of her armor and placed it over her. She puts on the metal hands, boots, and part of her helmet as she activates her suit. It does keep the rest of her body parts exposed, but she can at least use her suit.
She begins activating her suit to begin floating off the ground to test it out. “Looks like its working. Now, I need to do a little more testing…” she then turns to Astrid. “Up for a little race before we head on out?”
Astrid looks up and watches her get into the heavy seeming suit. That alone impressed her. But when it began to hover her eyes lit up. “Oh my Thor” she said to herself in awe and amazement at what she was watching. It took her a minute to realize what Abigail had asked her, she looked up. “Yes! Just hope it’s a good one” She spoke.
She then whistled and Stormfly arrived within moments. She slung herself into her dragon, “let’s go girl” she said and Astrid winked before taking off to the sky.
“Thor huh? Sounds like my friend’s dad is very popular around here,” said Abigail as she begins floating off the ground more and more before taking off to the sky to follow Astrid.
She flies by next to her and Stormfly as they fly near the coast. “How fast can your dragon go?”
Astrid pauses. Her and Stormfly stop midair. “You know Thor?!” She asked with confusion. “Got of thunder?!” She added. She seemed stunned by the idea.
Abigail almost flew past her when she saw they stopped. She flies over to them as she sees the shocked look on her face. “Of course. The son of Odin, his brother Loki (who invaded her home years ago), and his son. He’s a cool guy and has a cool axe. Although, my friend thinks his old hammer was cooler.”
“THEYRE REAL?!” The blonde exclaimed in surprise. “Oh you’re just joking!” She said not sure she was able to except that the gods they worshipped were truly alive.
