She smiled softly and exited the room. The door closed behind her and the lock was turned as for locking astrid back in.
Jack smiled at her and held out his hand “to see something extrodenary… but you have to take your shoes off, i dont want to track mud in here” He walked backwards and turned the key in the door and pushed it, still holding his hand out. Heat and steam seemed to seep out from the crack in the door.
She felt the heat on her face and shivered. She’d set her boots and socks aside and took Jack’s hand. Letting him guide her. Attempting to trust him. She stepped closer to him. “What is this place?” She asked feeling more warmth as she moved closer.
Jack smiled and lead her into the room. Revealing a big chamber, lit up by a few holes in the wall, fires lit up natural crystals in the room, giving it a soft cold light. And in the middle was a pool sized hot spring, getting filled by a stream. comming out of the wall.
Jack let go of her hand and walked down to the water “wanna go for a dip?” he asked and took his belt off. placing it by the wall.
She looked around in awe and wonder. Her blue eyes seemed to look with excitement. It was warm and comforting to be surrounded.
At his offer she froze some. Looking at him. “Are you sure?” She mumbled. As she noticed he’d started stripping. She stripped of her hood and shoulder guards. And then undid the lacing on the top layer of the dress. She shrugged both dress layers off. Leaving her in her white chest cover/wrappings. And simple skin hugging shorts. Something made for her and all her skirts she wore, and as a typical layer to keep her warmer in the winter. Her upper arms were still wrapped in its twine.
Jack pulled his tunic off and smiled “of course Im sure, The water will hide most of our body’s anyway. Not like there is anything to be embarrassed about. Is it?” Jack turned around and with no shame stripped completely nude, then dived into the water, swimming though it “Come on! I’ll turn around if you want” He smiled as he turned around.
Jack had never been shy about his naked body cause of how many times his naked body had been covered in blood during various sacrifices. He started to scrub his body to get the rest of the blood from last nights sacrifice.
Astrid looked at him and as he stripped completely she turned away. Her cheeks flushed. She felt her heart pound.
But she closed her eyes. Breathed out and began to strip the rest of the way. Leaving her chest cover for last she’d loosened it and it slowly unraveled from her body. She cautiously walked towards the water. Feeling so exposed she didn’t hesitate to get into the water her arm across her chest as she gracefully went into the water. Once in and her body submerged she undid her braids and took off her head band. Letting her blonde hair fall into the water.
