My-Many-Muse-Rp-Blog (for Hiccup X Jinx) The red head walked into the engineering department. She’d managed to get herself lost on her first day at the University. She was unfamiliar with the area. “Hello?” She called out and heard a mild echo.

Hiccup was working on some things alone in the classroom, having received permission from the teacher, Professor North. His project was basically making mock blueprints of something unique. In his case, it was a better leg than the one his Uncle had made.

His head lifts when he hears the voice, and he gets up to head to the door, popping his head out into the hall. He waves slightly.

“Hey. You lost?”

“It’s actually supposed to be more complicated than that. It’s supposed to be pressure sensitive and have better joints for the ankle and better balance in the foot, meaning the toes can wiggle or adjust to fix weight distribution. Buuuut.. that would take a lot of programming and fixing, and I don’t exactly have that talent.”

He pushes his pantleg down.

“Everyone is different with their amputations. I got lucky it was just my leg.. It could have been a lot worse.” He mumbles, standing and stretching a bit. Soon, he’s going to roll up the large paper.

“I should head home. I have an early class.”

She listened and looked it over again. She could hear his tone change as he talked about the coding. She chewed on her lower lip.

She watched him push the pant leg down.

“That’s true.” She said simply as he was packing up to go she tapped her finger on the table. She took a pencil from her pocket and took some blank paper she saw. “Here…..if you need help with the refinement and coding…..I’m not a master at it. But I’m sure if you need help I can do just that.” She said. When she finished writing she pushed the paper towards him. “Just text me.” She said with a smile. The paper had her phone number on it.

“My name is Jinx. Jinx Abernathy.” She spoke and stuck her hand out to shake his.

He watched her with some confusion, before hesitantly taking the paper and putting it into his pocket.

“Hamish Haddock. But um.. Everyone calls me Hiccup.” He gives her a light shake of the hand, before he’s tucking the rolled up paper into a tubed case for safety. He shrugs it over his shoulder, before starting to pack up his other things.

“I’ll um.. Keep that in mind, though.” He glances up with a small smile.

She smiles back and looks at her watch and she gasps. “Oh jeez!” She spoke.

“I’ll leave you be…..I hope you have a good evening Hiccup!” She says with a sweet smile and a passing salute as she backs out of the room, “I’ll see you around!” She added the statement echoed down the hall as she rushed to her class.

Some papers fell from the sketch book she’d been carrying. But she didn’t have the time to collect them if she didn’t want to be later for class.
