Jack laid down beside her and watched her yawn, smiling at her yawning face. He reached out and pushed her hair away before he leaned in and gave her lips a sweet kiss. he pulled away and nuzzled down into his pillow. Then he closed his eyes as he ran his hand down and took her hand in his “Thank you.. For tonight…”
She pulled back some and spoke, “it’s amazing! I love it. I think Stormfly will like it too” she looked at him and realized how close she was to him. Last night suddenly popped into her head. And she felt quite nervous. What is going on? She asked herself. Her heart pounded.
Jack smiled as he looked at the house, but froze just a little when he turned back to her he looked into her eyes, still holding her close. His heart started to pound as well. Was this what developing feelings for another person was like, feeling nervous around the person at all time, yet always wanting to be close to them?
Astrid gave an awkward laugh and finally pulled away and then looked at the house, “it’s amazing. Truly” she spoke. Her heart still pounded. She then whistled, and within moments Stormfly joined them. She petted the dragon and smiled. Then looked at Jack “now let’s see if she likes it” she spoke
