Jack laid down beside her and watched her yawn, smiling at her yawning face. He reached out and pushed her hair away before he leaned in and gave her lips a sweet kiss. he pulled away and nuzzled down into his pillow. Then he closed his eyes as he ran his hand down and took her hand in his “Thank you.. For tonight…”
Jack breathed out to relax a bit and chuckled “yeah… so what kind of people are we expected to be visited by?” he was very curious about Astrids friends would be.
“Well there Fishlegs, he’s recorded everything we’ve learned along with started to catalog and write everything we’ve got from history. Then we have the twins, Ruffnut and Tuffnut. Ruffnut is the female the other is male. They praise the god Loki so I’d be careful to check your bed before you fall asleep” she spoke and laughed a bit. “And then there’s Snotlout. He’s loud and obnoxious and flirtatious, at least he tries to be. But overall he’s a good guy. Just not the brightest or fastest” She explained.
“And though I don’t expect him to come there’s Hiccup. The leader and Chief of Berk. He’s awkward at one’s but he’s super smart, charming, and very much follows in ideals to benefit and protect both the people of Berk and dragons. He’s an innovator as well. He made a flight suit so he himself could fly. He also changed Berk for the better” she spoke. After she finished she’d realized how much she’d just spilled about Hiccup and pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration at herself.
Jack listened, very interested in these new people his own age. He liked hearing about these new characters, very interested in reading Fishlegs reaserch, making sure to lock his bedroom door so the twins would not place something wired in his bed.
Tho snotlout seemed a bit more interesting, kind of thinking him to be a great matcj for Gretta.
But when it came to hiccup he could sense something extra in her way of speaking of him.
He smiled and chuckled “oh come come! I know of you and Hiccups past, and he seem like a very interesting man, hope i can get to meet him one day”
She sighed, “I hope you guys meet too. Hopefully after some time I’m not sure how everything could go down if he just showed up. I’m not sure I’m ready to see him” She spoke and rubbed her arm under her cloak.
“But you’ll like them all nine the less I think. They’re all a bit loud too.” She added and then walked back over to Jack. “But I hope you know I’m serious about finding you a dragon right? And you’ll get to meet the riders and their dragons while they’re here.”
Jack smiled softly, realizing the confusion she must feel with him and hiccup. He placed one hand on her shoulder and another on her cheek “even if he did show up, id be here for you, to support you, to be by your side”
Jack had to admit that he was a bit jealouse at the life Hiccup and astrid had had together. But he believed that they had a chance together.
“i know, but all in good time no?” he smiled
She looked in surprise at his sudden closeness and not only that but his words. How he just knew or something. She had a pink color rising on her cheeks As his hand caressed her cheek.
“Yea….alll in good time….” she spoke almost dazed still. She and him were quite close again and her heart beat in her ears and she looked up at him. “Thank you….for supporting me…” she spoke her tone softer.
Jack smiled with a warm gaze before he himself notized there closeness. He pulled back a little and smiled to himself before letting go of her. Chuckling softly before he pushed his hair back before looking back at her.
He stood still and smiled before he growled at himself before he walked back to her and cupped her face before he kissed her lips softly. He held the kiss before he pulled away “i wont ask you or tell you to show your friends if you dont want to… but when we are alone… i dont want to hide that I constantly want to kiss you” He whispered against her lips. Hoping he wasnt to forward.
She felt his warm grip release her body and she stepped back with a small awkward chuckle. Astrid watched him move his hair and she could see his equally silver blue eyes.
Suddenly she felt his touch again against her face his hands naturally cold sent shivers down her back. She kissed back briefly before he pulled back. She blushed a deep deep red as he spoke. The blonde Viking suddenly formed words after a seemingly long silence. “Thank you” She spoke. A small sigh of relief. “I just don’t know what to do yet.” She whispered.
