Kymera looks on surprised to see a real dragon flying down and nuzzling against the girl like a pet. “Amazing. I did not think dragons existed in this world. I guess I should have expected it.”
Arthur nods in response. “Oh believe me if you’ve gone on the trips with me and Jason you would have found dragons exist in our universe too. Though they aren’t a friendly as this one.”‘
“Stormfly is pretty friendly and so are the other dragons here,” said Abby as she walks over to Astrid. “Hope you are up for this.”
Astrid looked at the bodies and her expression went from worried to determined, “What are we supposed to do? Decapate then?” She asked them. “Have you dealt with the undead before?” She added and pulled her axe out already wearing the gauntlets.
She looked around trying to count bodies. She’d never seen the others fight, aside from Abby. She didn’t want to move and inhibit them or vise versa.
Kymera’s eyes begin turning white again as a dark cloud begins emerging over them. Lightning can be seen in the clouds while loud thunder echoed. Arthur lifts his sword up as lightning came down hitting Arthur’s sword and Kymera. The two turn to their opponents and fired the lightning hitting the undead army.
Abby turns to Astrid with a smile under her helmet. “To answer your questions in the following: Use your axe, destroy them however you can, and yep pretty much we have dealt with the undead. Any questions or shall we go kick some undead ass?”
She watched in awe at the pair before turning back to Abby. She nodded her head no, “let’s kick undead ass” She spoke. Standing up she ran forward using her axe to start taking the undead down. She looked over at the other periodically, then back to her section, “Stormfly SPINE SHOT!” She spoke. Directing not only her own attacks but her dragon’s the Viking dragon pair worked seemlessly together in cutting the enemy down.
Kymera begins charging at the undead army as she uses her claws to slash away at them. Some even tried using their weapons on her, but the moment they hit her suit they broke apart. Kymera though used the attacks they gave to build up kinetic energy in her suit. Causing purple color to appear so when she brings her fist down the kinetic energy is unleashed taking down much of the army around her.
Arthur swings his sword taking down the ones in his way. Those that didn’t get caught by his sword he would kick or punch them away with his super strength. He tossed it sword as it begins flying around him. Taking down much of the enemy before coming back to him and he slashes a foe in half.
Abby meanwhile blasts much of the army around her away with her repulse blasters. Her suit would create a shield around her to protect her from any of the attacks that got through her repulse blasts. She moves her arm up and fired a small missile at the nearby enemy. The missile blew up and created a large explosion taking down much of the army as they got close to their target.
Astrid slung her ace with one hand using the blasters of the suit hands she wore. Switching hands and moving herself forward towards the enemy. Working in sync with Abby. Taking off strays in her path. She looked at the others. One grabbed at Astrid from behind. One had crawled onto Abby’s suit and pulled at her. Attempting to move the armor.
The vikingess turned around and blasted the undead attached to her off, slinging it onto the side of a tree
Abby continued blasting her way through the undead army as they get closer and closer to their location. She then noticed one of the undead trying to get at her. However, Astrid took care of it, which made her smile under her helmet. “Thank for the save there and you are amazing.”
They soon got through the army and arrived to find an abandoned village with a large fire pit in the middle. They begin heading towards it, but get stopped by a barrier that is seen protecting it.
“Well, isn’t this rude of you four to come in here and cause a lot of trouble,” they see a figure emerge from the fire. It was a girl around Abby’s age with long blonde hair, green eyes, fair skin, and wearing her black uniform with green cloak.
“Amora,” said Arthur as he recognized Enchantress. “Why are you doing this? Why would you want to bring back Hela? You know what she did to our home right?”
“You mean what your father did destroying our home and unleashing Ragnarök,” said Amora as she walks towards the group, but stops in front of the barrier. “Remember? Your dad unleashed that demon that destroyed our home?” she then noticed the new girl. “Who’s this? Another hero kid to join your little group?”
Astrid smiles at Abby, “any day of the week!!” She spoke back. As they managed past and moved towards a strange pit she noticed the field and stopped before getting to it.
A woman stepped forwards and Astrid looked at her with unamusement. “So who are you?” She asked after her speech.
“Surprisingly……I’m not a hero.” she retorted back. Her axe in hand. “I’m here to make sure you don’t go destroying my world.” She spoke to her. She looked over at the others and to Abby especially, “She’s a bit dramatic…..” she commented under her breath to Abby.
