Kymera looks on surprised to see a real dragon flying down and nuzzling against the girl like a pet. “Amazing. I did not think dragons existed in this world. I guess I should have expected it.”
Arthur nods in response. “Oh believe me if you’ve gone on the trips with me and Jason you would have found dragons exist in our universe too. Though they aren’t a friendly as this one.”‘
“Stormfly is pretty friendly and so are the other dragons here,” said Abby as she walks over to Astrid. “Hope you are up for this.”
Astrid looked at them all in mild concern and confusion. “So she eats worlds?! Well that’s a new one” She spoke And sighed out.
She looked at Abby, “I have to admit I don’t know how you guys keep up with all the crazy. I thought the twins were bad. Your world seems to be a whole new level” She added to her comment. Crossing her arms.
Abby calmed herself down and wraps an arm around Astrid. “Oh believe me all of this i pretty normal back home. If you think what happened now was crazy then you haven’t seen anything yet.”
Arthur sat down on the ground and sighed. “I don’t like this at all, Abby. Gali isn’t the type to do these sort of things on her own. Not without someone to guide her.”
Kymera nods in agreement. “She isn’t like her father either. She isn’t interested in devouring worlds. She just wants to be cured to be free of her hunger. Maybe that is why she took Amora?”
Abby turn to her friends and shook her head. “If magic was the solution then Chris would have solved that long ago for her. No, something tells me someone is behind working with Gali.”
Astrid rolls her eyes at Abby, “i deal with dragons not these people with magic powers!” She spoke defensively before she listened to Arthur’s concern with Gali, she looked at Kymera. Then back to Abby. “So does everyone in your world have issues like these?” She asked them curiously.
She wrapped her arms around Abby’s waist, she hugged her close while she looked and listened to the other two.
Abby began chuckling nervously and nods in response. “Let’s just say our world in the past had a lot of issues with a lot of people. We also all didn’t grow up with a normal childhood so we all turned out differently,” she felt her arm around her for a close embrace. She returns the hug and smiled. “I’m just glad you are okay.”
Arthur got up and puts his weapon away. “We should look around to make sure Amora didn’t leave anything behind. After that we can head on back to the island before going home.”
Astrid nodded in agreement. Until she heard they were to head home and her grip loosened from around Abby. “That’ll be good. I’m sure you’re excited to go home and rest in your own bed huh?” She asked Abby. After another moment she pulled away. “Um, but you’re right we should go looking around gods know what they left behind” she spoke and she started to walk away. Her thoughts distracted with the idea of Abby heading home.
Abby though followed her while her friends took off to look around. She knew this won’t be easy, especially since they discussed this before. Still, she is sure once she keeps the portal stabilized she can come here anytime she wants. But even so would this still work?
She has her suit retract from her body and walks over to Astrid. “You all right?”
Astrid was trying to focus on looking for anything else. Distracting herself. But when Abby came up she turned to look at her “What? Yes I’m fine.” She spoke but her expression she could tell didn’t sell what her mouth said. And she cursed herself.
“You have to go home. I’m aware of that. Duty first, no one knows that better then I do…” she spoke. But she felt herself loosing her cool. Though she’d be jumping through the portal to visit. It didn’t seem that viable of an option for them. And that is what hurt most.
Abby figured that was the problem and walks over to her side as she tries to help cheer her up. “Its not forever. I will come over whenever I want and see you. I can also see if you can come over too. I know its not to stay there, but to visit my world and show you around.”
She knew this might get difficult, but if things worked out between her parents despite the hard times they both went through then…she moved her hand over to take Astrid’s and turns her to face her. “I know this is going to be difficult, but…I love you too much to give this up.”
“But you could find someone else. And you could get to busy to visit. So who knows when you’d come to visit….I can’t go making and jumping through portals.” She spoke.
Astrid felt Abby pull her to see her face to face and she looked her in the eyes. “But…..I love you too..I just….This isn’t a usual long distance thing. This is full on two separate dimensions and I’ve never really been in a relationship with anyone except for Hiccup, Abby.” She spoke to her with worry. “What if something happens….” she spoke then blushed realizing she’d told her she loved her.
That was all Abby needed to hear. Yes, she knows it won’t be easy. Hell it will be difficult as hell. Two people who love each other and from two different worlds may seem impossible to get through.
But for Abby, she would risk it. She moved her hand up to her face and looks deep into her eyes. She begins moving her hand away from her eyes and smiles at her. She soon leans in and then pressed her lips gently against Astrid’s.
She went through with it and gave her a kiss. A passionate and long kiss as she held her close.
Astrid looked at her and felt her hands travel up to her face brushing away. The blonde Vikings hair.
She blushed a bit as Abby pressed her lips to Astrid’s and the blonde quickly sank into it. But she wrapped her arms around her waist pulling her tight and close to her. She could feel her heart race and she breathed deeply while she kept her lips to Abby’s. She wanted this. She wanted her, she’d go through the struggle she’d decided.
Abby kept the kiss going when she felt her return the kiss. She felt the embrace tightening, which she didn’t mind as she kept kissing her. She didn’t want to ever let her go. She wanted to keep this kiss going and never break it.
But after a minute of kissing, which felt like an eternity they soon break it so they can get some air. Abby stares at Astrid and smiles at her. “So, you love me too huh?” she asked chuckling a little.
Astrid felt the kiss finally break and it took her a second to come back down. She breathed out deeply and gave a chuckle at Abby’s statement. “I might. Got a problem with that?” The blonde asked before she pulled away a playfully punched Abby in the arm causing her to stumble some.
Abby felt her pulling away before punching her in the arm. Abby backed away a little and fell on the ground on her ass. She began chuckling a little as she rubs her arm. “I might if I keep getting punched like that,” she replied while she smiles at her. “Unless you help me feel better.”
Astrid smiles before she pulled Abby up, “for someone with all that tech I think you need to work on your balance more” She teased before pulling her into another deep kiss. Holding her waist.
“And if that punch hurt you we have some work to do babe” she teased.
