A merchant ship docks in the Arrendalle port. The ports were full of merchants…and people seeking the creatures rumored to recently inhabit the mountains. Many have gone missing.
One of the passengers exits the ship wearing a simple traveler’s garb and inly a calvary saber on his side. His bag seems to be the heaviest part about him. If one were to go through it, they’d find weapons and armor that makes Arrendale’s seem cheap.
He enters the city, lighting a cigarette.
She kissed him back and held his face to hers. “I love you…..” she spoke when she thought about it she remembered something she’d been thinking about. “After the wedding….we need to start looking for the relic. I’ve been thinking about it. I need to learn about how and why I’m The winter maiden. We need to protect the relic….” she spoke up to him.
“Every Academy has one. Seems the Relic…chose its Academy site.”
“But why here? We don’t have an academy” she spoke to him. She sighed and looked down at the baby bump. “Oh….they’re kicking…” she spoke. Putting her hands on her baby bump. Feeling a kick here and there.
Crispin immediately moved to feel, getting a bit excited. “Really?”
He was nervous that they’d kick out of their mother like some kind of Special Forces excercise. He twitched slightly. “Is…everything okay?”
She calmly put his hands on her stomach, letting him feel the kicks “yes everything is okay. They’re supposed to do that.” She explained to him. “They aren’t gonna just pop out Crispin. They’re just excited. I’m sure they can sense you near too.” Added.
“Wouldn’t surprise me. I’ve always been high in the sensory department.” He felt the kick and trembled. “Twins.” He looks pale and weak.
“Crispin you’ve known im carrying twins. You and Blake both decided to share that when you hear their heart beats” she spoke and tipped his head to look at her. “It’ll be okay” She spoke.
“I hope so. Speaking of those men I mentioned earlier…think you can get them out if they…had a job teaching future Huntsman?”
“Can I trust them to behave? It is a risk on my reputation as Queen to bring them out” she asked him curiously. “I love you and I trust your judgement….mostly” She joked a bit.
