Elsa smiled and took the princess to follow her “No need to apologize. I wasn’t ever really the warmest and welcoming princess when we were younger” she jokes a bit. She bowed to James, “Thank you. And enjoy the celebration.” she spoked, before they walked away. There was a small nook in the ballroom they were in that seemed separated from the party though in the same room still. She had a small table and two chair set up for them to sit. A servant sat them down in their seats and bowed. Making sure to serve a drink to both women before he excused himself.
When they were alone Elsa sighed out and gave a small awkward laugh, “Wow…I really can’t imagine spending the whole party like that.” she spoke and looked at Kymera. “I’m still new to this whole public appearance thing and since the freezing of the Fiords I’m trying to relax but still keep good appearances” she explained briefly. Then smiled, “I can not tell you how excited I am to be making allies with you and the work with our Geothermal tech with your Vibranium tech. We alone have made such vast leaps to improving Arenedelle and the environment we protect. Being able to build and implement those same ideals and concepts into more areas of the world…..There’s really a great opportunity to reverse the clock on global warming.” she spoke with excitement before she drank from her class of wine.
Elsa noticed her getting distracted and seemingly concerned expression. She looked up and saw James go flying and she stood up. As he came towards them shortly after she looked around the Queen watched as Kymera seemed to transform into her suit.
However before she could do anything herself James came and tackled her. She gasped out. As she reoriented herself she watched the shield appear and she looked up at him. When he lifted her back up she nodded at hearing his words. Backing up. And she noticed the armored beings had moved forward letting the civilians run and evacuate. She grunts and stomped on the floor of the ballroom and shot her hands out. A wall of thick ice began to build separating the armored beings and her and Kymera and James from the civilians.
She noticed the scorpion tail on the one individual and she began to move, trying to take a set of marble stairs not far behind them. Her guards were trying to beat on the ice wall she’d created to reach her but it was futile.
James and Kymera noticed the queen using her ice powers, which was a good idea. Keeping the civilians safe from harm, but also cuts her off from escaping too. James noticed her making a staircase and he saw that as her chance to leave.
“My lady, please get to safety. We’ll handle this,” said James as the scorpion fired acid from his tail. James blocked it with his shield and thankfully it didn’t melt through it.
He throws it and hits the scorpion before leaving over and kicks him toward the wall. Kymera meanwhile sees the other armored figure pull out an electrical sword and begins trying to use it on her. Kymera blocks her attacks, but when the sword slashed against her suit the electricity shocked her. This surprised her, but she fought back and begins using her claws to try slashing at the figure.
She nodded, “Be safe please” she said to them both as she headed up. But Elsa paused as she made it midway up the stairs. They were defending her and she was running away. granted she was inexperienced but she refused to let them have no help from her. at noticing the acidic scorpion tail attack as he hits it she blasts the tail of it with ice and encloses her hand causing the ice to crush the scorpion tail and sends enough chill into the core of the tail to freeze the acid in its place at least for a few minutes.
She hoped that was just enough help them before she swung herself over a balcony she had the stairs leading to. she saw more civilians and she looked at them “I need you all to exit the building ladies and gentlemen. “It’s not safe” she said to them before one of her guards spotted her and pulled her by her arm towards the back entrance of the building.
James sees what the queen did and appreciated it. However, he noticed the suit of the scorpion began to heat up. Melting the ice away as it turns its attention to Elsa. The scorpion begins going after her, but James grabs the tail to keep him from leaving.
“We’re not done yet! Not until you tell us who you are and…” James was cut off when the scorpion lifted its tail up with James and tossed him to the ice wall. He then noticed the scorpion going after the queen and James begins following it.
Kymera meanwhile kicks the armored figure towards the ice wall. Kymera’s eyes begin to glow as she charges up electricity through her body preparing to attack. The armored figure placed their hand on the ice and begins causing it to vibrate. Kymera noticed this and the ice wall explodes knocking the debris against her.
Elsa had just made it around the corner when she saw the scorpion man bounding into the hall. She gasped but covered her mouth to remain silent. She ducked behind a door waving her guard to keep going. She wouldn’t be safe out in the open. She created a small circle disk of ice in her hand and used it to watch for the scorpion man as he came in the direction she’d gone to hide.
She not only feared for herself but she worried about the others. She knew ice didn’t always last for long. She made her breathing quiet and watched carefully.
The scorpion using his suit’s inferred he was able to find the queen and bursts into the room where she is at. He thrusts his bladed claws at her, but James arrives to bring his shield down on the claw knocking it to the ground. He then throws his shield hitting the scorpion in the face knocking him back. James picks up the queen bridal style and begins taking her somewhere safe.
“My lady, are you all right? You aren’t hurt?” he asked while carrying to safety.
Meanwhile, Kymera began to recover from the blast, but the armored figure was ready to attack her again. Before the the attack came she unleashed a powerful lightning bolt from the sky, through the ceiling, and towards the metal figure electrocuting them. The figure falls backwards and remains there motionless as Kymera gets off the floor.
Elsa jumped and managed to stumble out of the way as he crashed into the room. She hit the floor and tried to sit herself up but before she could James had picked her up. She breathed heavily from panic but looked up at him. “I-I’m fine. I’ll live. Where’s the Princess?” She asked him. “And you can call me Elsa. No need for formality at this moment in time” she spoke as she held on. She was worried about Kymera. She could defend herself but they seemed to be unknown to them who they were fighting. And fighting without knowing who you’re fighting is dangerous. She thought.
James found a safe spot and helps set the queen down. “Kymera is fine, Ms. Elsa,” said James who despite being told not to be formal he still does it. “She can handle her own and…” right on cue he sees a bolt of lightning coming down from the ceiling and smiled. “Right on cue.”
He then looks over to see the scorpion following them and fires a rocket at them. James took his shield and runs over before hitting the missile knocking it away as it explodes to the side. The scorpion fires acid from its tail, which James dodges and grabs a nearby table. He lifts it up and swings it hitting the scorpion in the face sending him away.
“Please get to safety while I end this!” he said to the queen before turning his attention back to the scorpion.
She held onto him as he carried her out of the way. When he finally set her down and started defending them from the scorpion man she watched in shock and concern.
As he spoke to him, Elsa looked around and found a new place to hide. She went into a back door and locked it. She coated the door in thick ice. And she sighed in relief. But she was still panicked, “Please be okay” the Queen spoke under her breath.
James continued his fight as he charges at the scorpion. The criminal swings his tail and hits James across the gut. Sending him flying to the wall. He managed to recover in time to avoid his pincers as they try to grab him. The scorpion swings his tail to try stabbing him, but James caught it with both hands.
Holding him off as he sees him preparing to unleash more acid. However, before he could use it on him James lets go so the tail can miss him and hit the ground. He then takes his shield and brings it down cutting the tail in half. The acid begins pouring out as the scorpion begins swinging it around.
James dodges the attack, but Kymera arrives to fire electricity into the tail. Shocking the man inside the suit as his screams can be heard echoing from the suit. James grabs a nearby pillar and swings it hitting the scoprion. Knocking him through a wall near where the queen is at and passed out.
James rushes over to where the foe is at and turns to see the queen. “Miss Elsa, are you all right?”
Elsa could hear the attacks. The grunts and smacks and thuds of every hit and blow. After only a couple minutes she heard a man scream and she shut her eyes. But jumped when she heard the wall crash.
As she looked she saw the scorpion man laying limp. She sighed and looked at James as he came through the hole in the wall.
“I am fine. And Just Elsa please, just Elsa.” She spoke as he approached her. “I’m glad you were here.” She spoke in relief, “but who are they? Under the masks?” She asked.
Kymera’s mask retracts from her face and turns to the scorpion. “Don’t know, but from the looks of things you were the target…so, who did you make mad?”
James clear his throat and speaks up next. “I think what my friend means did you make any enemies or upset anyone miss…I mean Elsa. Do you know anyone who would want to harm you?”
Elsa nods no, “I don’t have any enemies except Hans. He however is no longer a problem.” She said to them and stood up straight.
Walking between them looked up at the Princess then James, “do you think it was because of what happened back in Arendelle? Me freezing The fiords?” She asked. “I don’t have any enemies. Though I cut off trades with a different country recently due to them trying to exploit Arendelle. Wheaslton is the name of the country” She explained. But she wasn’t sure it was them.
