This scene right here is one of my favorites of the whole Rise of the Guardians movie for various reasons. First, not only the animation is flawless but they managed to show and transmit the emotions the characters feel but they make you feel closer to them; Jamie and Jack’s emotions and expressions and the frost/snow, make the scene feel magical and real.

Secondly, this scene is one of the most emotional parts of the movie where Jamie makes a question that most of the kids do. “Are they real?”  However, during the movie the importance of Jamie’s decision to keep believing or not may decide the future of the Guardians since the kids no longer believe in them.

But what I think it is the most beautiful part of this scene is how there are two points of view in the scene; one part is on Jamie’s POV and another part is on Jack’s POV. When the scene is on Jamie’s POV, Jack is invisible, though the frost that the guardian creates is not. However, on Jack’s POV, he is visible. At the end, both POVs get together when Jamie believes in Jack Frost.

Not only this scene’s animation is flawless but the design and production is as well.
