Luke set by the counter and knocked down his 5th shot of cherry vodka. On nights like this, a blurry mind is all he needed, which was tough thanks to his healing factor.
Jackie had gotten off work not too long ago. She’d checked her phone to find a new bounty offer for her. Which she accepted, with the intel she’d Been sent in the message she had a good ide as to where he’d be. Taking her motorcycle she bobbed through traffic with ease.
As time gone by, the bar got empty, only Luke, the bartender and 5-7 sketchy looking people. In front of him, a pile of empty glasses stood. He looked at his blurry reflection in a mirror at the other side of the room. For some reason, that kind of mood was one of his favourites; one when he doesn’t have the need to feel fulfilled or happy. Just… alive.
Jackie walked into the bar. It didn’t take long to spot the man of the hour she didn’t show any signs of suspicion but worked her way over to the bar to get herself a drink. She slid in with only one person between the two.
“H-hey….b-bartender, can I get a-a wh-whiskey on th-the rocks?” She orders and she briefly looked over to see her green eyes connect with Luke’s briefly. Then back to the bartender.
