Elsa smiled and took the princess to follow her “No need to apologize. I wasn’t ever really the warmest and welcoming princess when we were younger” she jokes a bit. She bowed to James, “Thank you. And enjoy the celebration.” she spoked, before they walked away. There was a small nook in the ballroom they were in that seemed separated from the party though in the same room still. She had a small table and two chair set up for them to sit. A servant sat them down in their seats and bowed. Making sure to serve a drink to both women before he excused himself.
When they were alone Elsa sighed out and gave a small awkward laugh, “Wow…I really can’t imagine spending the whole party like that.” she spoke and looked at Kymera. “I’m still new to this whole public appearance thing and since the freezing of the Fiords I’m trying to relax but still keep good appearances” she explained briefly. Then smiled, “I can not tell you how excited I am to be making allies with you and the work with our Geothermal tech with your Vibranium tech. We alone have made such vast leaps to improving Arenedelle and the environment we protect. Being able to build and implement those same ideals and concepts into more areas of the world…..There’s really a great opportunity to reverse the clock on global warming.” she spoke with excitement before she drank from her class of wine.
She looked at their hands. And she breathed sharply but subtly. She then looked st him again. “I’m very interested. I need to, for not just Arendelle but I think for myself as well.” She spoke to him. She was curious what methods he had in mind.
Jame was glad to hear that and didn’t notice they were still holding hands. He has to admit Elsa was something else. She was beautiful, caring, and looks like for everyone. Wanting to protect them despite knowing the dangers. Reminds him of himself when he thinks about it.
He soon snapped out of his thoughts when he hears Luna by the door taking pictures. “Can I help you?”
Luna has a big grin on her face and shook it. “Nope, just sending this to Anna and seeing what she thinks about it.”
“Send her wh…” it was then James realized he is holding the queen’s hand and knowing Luna knew what she means. ‘Oh boy.”
Elsa had been observing his face forgetting too that they were still holding hands. He was so different. And it ways quite interesting, she couldn’t wait to start training…..though her mind sort of drifted. But she heard James and her cheeks frosted and she napped her head to look at Luna. “What are you doing?!” She asked the woman. And heard the snap of the phone camera and she went wide eyed.
“What?! When did you and Anna exchange numbers?! Don’t you dare send it!” She exclaimed and yet she still held his hand for some reason. But as it was pointed out by James she jumped back and pulled her hand. “I’m sorry James.” She spoke. “Any other photos I’ll be sure to freeze that phone….” she gave an icy glare to Luna. “I-i need to get dressed.” She spoke. And witch a flick of her hand she’d changed her Pajamas into a icy blue blouse and fitted professional pants and heels formed onto her feet. She looked at them after she’d finished and the robe she now held in her hands she draped over her arm for the time being. Her hair however was still a mess.
Once she backed away and left the group a part of James felt a bit disappointed. Despite using ice powers when he touched her hand it felt…warm. Maybe it’s only when she uses her powers. He snapped out of it though and turns to Luna who didn’t heed to Elsa’s warning and send the picture.
“Why do you antagonize her? You know we are here to protect her and her people right?”
Luna rolled her eyes. “Oh please. Don’t lie you liked holding her hand. Hell I bet you can’t wait to date her.”
James sighed as he took her hand and puts it away. “First of all stop playing matchmaking. We have a job to do so let’s focus on that. And secondly you will get this back when we are done here.”
James begins leaving the room and goes to make sure the guards are all set up. Unbeknownst to him Luna took out a second phone and began sending a text to Abby. “Now whoever said I only had one phone?” she said to herself.
Elsa felt bad for leaving abruptly and she didn’t like being aggressive. She sighed and handed her robe to a servant and went to her office. She hadn’t gone far from where she’d exited the kitchen and as James leaves the kitchen Elsa runs into him by accident. She doesn’t fall but she does stumble back a step and she looked at him. “I’m sorry….” she spoke and gave a small smile. “Now whe didn’t figure out when to do training. Will you message me when you’d like to train? I have to work on some trade papers” she spoke as she begun to pulled back and walked to his side and tried to put aside the awkward kitchen moment only a few minutes before.
