James arrived to find Elsa, her sister, and Christoph already in the room. He decides not to bring up what happened earlier since he didn’t want to make things awkward. So, he entered the room and found a nearby seat. Unaware his seat would be near Elsa.
Luna entered the room next, but was coming in from the kitchen since she made dinner. She brought them some homemade pizza. A very long thin pizza that took her a while to make, but quickly cooked it thanks to her powers.
“I bring you all dinner, which is a veggie pizza. It took me a while to make this so i hope you like it,” said Luna as she sets the pizza on the table.
“Well we’ve never been…..but I have always wanted to go to broadway!” She said with a bit of excitement in her voice.
She’d been told about it when she was younger. When she’d hide herself in her room all those years she’d read many books including those that’d been made into plays or musicals. She’d seen small ones in Arendelle and neighboring countries but it wasn’t broadway. “I’d love to see some landmarks. Are you family with New York?” She asked him.
James was happy to hear that. He figured she’d want to go to Broadway, but then again who wouldn’t want to go there? The shows are always amazing. He always had a good time going there with his mom whenever they went to the city.
“Yeah and was born in New York too,” James replied as he looks out the window. “My dad was born in Brooklyn. Around the time before World War II and before the city got to be…as big as it is now.”
She smiled, then her smile dropped to a more subtle one. “I hope we can get this done. I’m worried something will go wrong. It’s weird thinking I’ll be doing adventuring and relaxing rather then running Arendelle for a few days. And I’m gonna go unnoticed. It’s all a new concept” she said as she watched out the window.
James understood and figured this will be different than what she has been used to. Still, he plans to make sure she has a good time. Relax a little and not worry about being hunted down. Something he is sure to do while also making sure they are ready when they get the guy who hired the assassins.
He grabs her hand and smiles at her. “Don’t worry. It will be fun and if you want i can take you to one of the shows on Broadway.”
She turns her attention to him and their hands together. Elsa looked into his eyes “uh…..” she was at a loss for words, “uhhh….id like that a lot.” She said to him. Then realized they were still holding hands.
Anna covered her mouth in an attempt not to scream in excitement. Christoph helped her. Elsa turned and saw them staring and she almost jumped out of her skin. She pulled her hand to her lap instinctively. Not meaning to do harm to James.
James seemed confused on what was wrong when he realized they were holding hands and Anna saw the whole thing. Shit, this just got awkward. However, his attention turns to his watching going off. Letting him know he is getting a call.
“Excuse me a second. If you guys need a drink Jocasta will offer some to you guys,” said James as he left to go to the cockpit when a silver robotic woman appeared from the back of the jet plane towards the group.
“Greetings. I am Jocasta. I have been sent by Ms. Abigail Stark to provide you with anything you might need. Would you like something to eat, drink, read, or perhaps you would like to listen to some music or watch a movie?”
Elsa watched James as he walked away and she sighed quietly before pulling her book into her lap. When the robot came out offering things to accommodate them, Elsa and Anna both simultaneously spoke, “CHOCOLATE” they said and Elsa looked across the jet at Anna and they both laughed at the situation. They both had a huge love for chocolate. Christoph nodded no however “thanks but no thanks!” He said whisky looking a little sickly.
Jocasta nods as she brings the women some chocolate candy, cake, and ice cream. Before she offers Christoph a medicine to help him relax while they fly. Meanwhile, James is finishing speaking with Abigail about their arrival. Police Chief Stacy will be there waiting for them when they arrive.
This was good news for them as he exits the cockpit and walks over to sit next to Elsa once more. “That is a lot of chocolate.”
“I don’t think Anna could be happier right now” the queen laughed as Anna had already dug into the cake and candies. Elsa had a small pile of candies on her tray next to her. She’d already eaten through a few. She looked at James, “Is everything alright?” She asked him referring to his disappearance into the cockpit.
James nods in response. “Nothing. Just never expected to see the queen herself enjoying her sweets so much,” he joked as he chuckled a little. “Abigail has Chief Stacy waiting for us at the airport. Just to go over stuff with the two of us. Nothing to worry about.”
She blushed a bit but still laughed, “I’m weak when it comes to chocolate.” She spoke through her laugh. She listened in to him as she set her book down and ate another chocolate. “Are you sure there’s nothing to worry about? I’m glad I’ll get to meet Gwen. I have been hearing quite a bit about her” she commented before eating another chocolate.
“Well, that’s good to hear. Gwen has made a big impact in the city when she took charge, especially helping fight corruption,” said James as he got himself some water from Jocasta. “Don’t worry about her though. She is very friendly and is looking forward to helping us. Truth be told I think she misses being out there with the other heroes.”
“That’s right from what I’ve done my research on wasn’t she a spider? Or had relations to a spider” she asked. Anna looked up, “Wait Gwen Stacy was who? Is who?” She asked wanting to start prying at the pair suddenly on more details.
Elsa looked at Anna, “Not right now Anna this isn’t for you to listen to” She tried to plead with Anna who was too determined to know more about Gwen.
James however decided to let Anna know since she’ll find out sooner or later, especially if they meet Gwen’s son. “Gwen was Spider-Woman. She was bit by a radioactive spider and became a superhero. However, she’s retired and became the chief of police. But, just don’t bring this up, Anna since the rest of the police and city don’t know about this.”
Elsa sighed and Anna screamed in excitement causing the Queen to jump and she took her headphones and put them on. Knowing all to well Anna was a huge fan of all the Avengers all the Heroes.
Christoph however intervened though the relaxers hadn’t fully set in yet he got up and pulled her to him and he laughed a bit without vomiting “Relax Anna” He said and Anna finally breathed and took her seat, she looked at Hames, “Thank you! I promise I won’t say anything” she said joyfully. Elsa was waiting with music playing through her headphones for the room to quiet down.
Three hours later and the plane soon arrive to New York. The plane flew over the city where they would be able to see the sites. The plane soon begins landing at the airport where Gwen Stacy in her police uniform is waiting with other officers. The plane lands and soon James came out first to speak with Gwen before the others.
“Hello chief Stacy. Thank you for coming by,” said James as he extended his hand to the officer.
Gwen took his hand and shook it. “Always a pleasure to help out. I just wish it didn’t have to involve the Insidious Six.”
“Any word of the others?” James asked.
Gwen shook her head in response. “Not yet, but we’ll be keeping an eye out.”
Elsa gathered her few things she’d brought into the
Main cabin with. She wore a loose button up blouse and dark blue almost ankle height dress pants. She wore her signature icy blue heels (not the ones made of ice on this trip) and a tote purse. She would activate the watch once she and the other were done talking to Stacy.
Christoph was relieved when they’d landed he and Elsa worked to wake up Anna. Who slowly and drowsily cane to before getting more excited at the fact they had arrived. The queen reminded Anna to behave as she was taught to do. Christoph then exited first followed by the Princess who grinned wildly and then finally the Queen. When she stepped off the stairs she bowed briefly and placed her hands together and in front of her, “You must be Chief Stacy” she said simply with ALMOST a nervous smile
James finished explaining to Gwen about how only Elsa knows about the assassination. Her sister is unaware and wants to keep it that way. Gwen understood from experience and not wanting a loved one getting hurt. Without them knowing about it.
Gwen turns the queen and nods in response. “And you must be Queen Elsa,” she then turns to the red head behind them. “And you must be Princess Anna. I take it this gentleman is your boyfriend?”
Anna Curtaied to Gwen and then Christoph stuck his hand out with a nervous smile, “Hi I’m Christoph. I’m dating the princess….” he spoke. Though it wasn’t in boasting more a loss for words. It was the only thing he could manage to say. Anna blushed at his comment and Elsa turned from the back to Gwen, “It’s a pleasure to meet you. I’ve been told a lot about you. And I thank you for trying to keep our visit under wraps.” She said with a small smile on her closed lips.
Gwen nods in response before she replies to the queen. “Its no problem. I don’t mind helping you all out. We’ll need to go through the border agents first so you can be documented and then we’ll head into the city.”
As she leads them she turns to James and Elsa. “I’m actually glad you brought them here and have them following the rules. Its better than that duke who came by hours ago.”
Elsa smiles, “we don’t want to draw attention to ourselves on this trip. The only time people should know I’m here is during the Gala this weekend. My sister doesn’t plan on attending the event.” She explains to Gwen as they begin walking towards the customs office. “The Duke just came in though? What did he do to create such annoyance?” She asked the Chief.
