Jinx begun to cross the street she smiled at Barry’s message. As she stepped out into the street she’d seen the walk sign and thought it’d have been safe.
A black suv came speeding up towards her, ignoring the red light, jinx looked up in time to jump and roll out of the way. She slammed into the ground and grunted before quickly getting up. The suv turned a 180 and tried again at her. However jinx had already taken off running. Her bag flying behind her phone clutched in her hand. Her jeans newly ripped and her hair tousled. But surprisingly no scratches. She dialed Barry on her phone, “H-hey Barry! Uh……soo th-this might be strange but can I come to your work for a bit?!” She asked her voice breathy from her still running.
