What if Dagur found all those old fics, but he wasn’t upset with Hiccup about them??? He just felt really guilty because he realizes that he’d pushed Hiccup into feeling that way so he doesn’t blame him???
It would probably open up a really good discussion about their past relationships and how they feel now.
I give you my indulgent thought of the week: Hiccup writing whump about the bad guys. It starts with his childhood fantasy of Dagur being eaten by a dragon, and continues on with Alvin, Vigo, Krogan, Johan, and Drago. All the things he’d do if he wasn’t such a nice person, what he wished they’d do to each other. Hiccup’s smart, he’d INVENT new ways to torture them in his fics.
