Yes!!! Let Hiccup write out his dark thoughts!!! Hm, though I wonder if he’d later feel guilty about the ones with Dagur after they became allies… 🤔
Also, I want to read that whump.
What if Dagur found all those old fics, but he wasn’t upset with Hiccup about them??? He just felt really guilty because he realizes that he’d pushed Hiccup into feeling that way so he doesn’t blame him???
It would probably open up a really good discussion about their past relationships and how they feel now.
The occult book takes you through history from the old Greeks to now, and shows how the occult beliefs and traditions have been preserved over time, despite heavy resistance of Christianity. This book was a true eye-opener for me, endlessly fascinating but also a bit sad.
It makes me think about what the world would have been like if people would have been allowed to keep practicing the Old Ways. Would the Italians still worship Roman gods? Would the English still go to druïds for guidance and help? We’ll never know.
James turns to Elsa and nods in response before focusing on the road. “New York is a very busy city. Millions of people live here and all from different parts of the world. All of different religion and speak different languages. A good place to live and where people feel if they make it here they can make it anywhere.”
“It’s definitely not the Swiss chocolate I’m used to but it’s still almost as good.” She said before taking another bite of the brownie and ice cream together. It melted in her mouth the sweetness of it all bringing sweet childhood memories to her from when her and Anna has been close.
James is glad to see she is enjoying her food s he finishes with his desert. So far things are going well, which is how he wanted it. No crimes going on and no trouble. Just him and Elsa spending time together.
“So, where do you want to go next? We can go anywhere you want and the night is young.”
“Well I don’t really know of anywhere. So I suppose maybe there’s somewhere you have in mind?” She asked Hames as they left the restaurant. “Thank you for dinner by the way” She added
James nods in response before he took her in the car and thinks of a good place they can go. He drives her to Central Park where he knew it would be a good place to go out for a nice walk. Once he parked he begins taking her around the park. There are some people around, but not as many as earlier.
“I used to love coming here a lot. Usually for my morning runs, which a lot of joggers didn’t like since I kept passing them so many times.”
Elsa walked next to him happily listening to him as he talked. She laughed a bit. “So do you still live here? In New York I mean…..I never really asked.” She spoke and turned her head to look up at him. Observing him, his features.
James shook his head in response. “I only live here when the team needs me. I actually moved outside of the city. In a small town where I help with anything they need. Cutting wood, repairing their vehicles, their power, build homes, and helping law enforcement. Its nice and quiet although Abby thinks its rather boring, but then again she is a city girl.”
“Well I can respect going out and helping with the town and community. I know I try my best to do the same since coming out about my powers.” She replied. “Abby must follow in her father’s footsteps….a little” she laughed before continuing “Do many people know you’re Captain America?” She asked.
“Some of the elderly do know, but the rest are unaware. Not that I hide my identity much when I fight though,” said James who knew his helmet didn’t hide much of his identity. “I don’t mind if they do though. Abby is the same who is a lot like her dad, but she does take great care not to tell people where she lives like her dad did.”
“It’s important to stay safe. To be a bit protective” she pointed out. She looked around the park and watched as nature took its hold on their small little world. Blowing in the breeze and seeing the other people interacting was so peaceful.
“True, but don’t be too overprotective,” said James knowing that if a parent or sibling is too overprotective they will make the other angry. Lesson learned with what Abigail told him. “Still, you have shown you are capable of holding your own. I’m sure your sister is the same?”
“I don’t think she’d let me be overprotective.” Elsa jokes. “She’s 19 now……and she’s figuring herself out. She doesn’t necessarily need me for that. But we are still close now.” She explained to James with a small subtle smile.
“I am glad to hear that,” said James who is glad their sisterhood is still strong despite what they both went through. “Well, you have us to help you all too. If you ever need it we’ll be there to help you both out.”
She takes his hand and squeezes it briefly, “thank you James. I don’t know what I would’ve done had you not been there….” she then tried to correct herself, “….I mean and of course the others too. Luna and Kymera deserve thanks too” She said to him
