Ivan was making dinner for himself when he heard noise coming from the fire escape outside his window. He opens the window and his eyes go wide when he sees a girl climbing towards him. He was frozen in shock.
Jinx smiles and nods, “thank you Eva. The world is definitely much more strange and hard to grasp then what I’ve read through books” she said to her. “It almost doesn’t feel real” She added.
Evan laughs and nods. “I felt dhe same way when Ivan and I cams to America.” She says. “We had no idea how anything worked until Ivan got a job.”
“I think I’m from this country…..I’m not sure. I don’t remember a time before I left the lab where I’d been outside. I don’t remember or have any recollection of what was before the lab…..I don’t even know my own age.” She spoke to them and sighed a bit. “So I understand” she spoke in a softer tone
Eva nods. “Well now you have us. So we will take care of you.” She smiles brightly. “Da.” Ivan says. “We are here for you.”
She smiles to them and nods, “Thank you both….” she said and her eyes connected with Ivan’s, she smiled a bit brighter it seemed.
That’s when the food comes. Ivan pulls off a peice and passes it to Jinx before getting his own.
She realized she was staring almost too long but thankfully the pizza had arrived to distract her. She then looks at the pizza and then to Ivan, “I could’ve gotten it ya know?” She pointed out to him with a hint of a smile on one corner of her lips.
He blushes slightly. “It was hot. I didn’t want you to drop you pizza.” He says.
She rolls her eyes playfully and out of sass. “I wasn’t going to drop it. I know how to eat! I also know how to pick up hot foods Ivan” she poked fun at him before eating her food.
He blushes harder. “You’re right. I’m sorry.” He looks down and eats his food.
Jinx looked at him. “Is everything okay? Your cheeks are red….are you hot?” She asked him curiously.
He shakes his head. “No, no. I’m alright. Please, don’t worry about me.” He smiles.
Jinx leaned over to Eva, “Is he really okay?” She asked in a quiet whisper to her.

Also known as tasseography or tassology, it’s an intuitive divination technique of reading tea leaves or coffee grounds. Images changes when viewed differently so depends on reader’s perceptions. Good tool to access subconscious.
Techniques
There are different ways to interpret which area of the cup corresponds with what. There are also special cups for divination with symbols painted on its inner surface. Check diagrams: 1. Rim to bottom layout where rim area is for present, sides for near future and bottom for far future. 2. 12 month layout where you divide cup into 12 areas, from left to right each is a further future. 3. Past/future layout where left side represents past and the right side future. 4. Importance layout – rim: most important; sides: relevant; close to bottom: rival, bottom: unlucky, right from handle: lucky. Those are not all possibilities!
Reading
Get mentally prepared. Meditate, focus on the preparation of the tea and the reading. Find calm place to perform.
You’ll need a cup with a light surface, loose tea or coffee ground, stove, kettle/pot and water. Place 1 teaspoon of tea leaves in a cup, bring water to a boil and pour over your tea. Steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Stir and let to settle. If you’re using coffee grounds first heat them in a pot, pour into your cup and let to settle.
Focus on your question while enjoying the drink. Leave a small sip of drink in the bottom of cup. Swirl the leaves three times and turn the cup upside down on the saucer to drain the liquid. Turn the cup back and examine. What do you see?
