James was about to say something to Elsa when she began to leave. He wonders if what happened with Rachel caused her to want to leave. James excused himself from his friends and began following Elsa. Wanting to talk to her before she goes to her room.
James stops the elevator from closing as he gets in the elevator. “H-hold on. We still got time before the party happens. That was the whole reason why we came early. So, I could show you around the city so you can have a good time without worrying about anything going wrong.”

James though knew it was still no excuse for what she did. “I’ll make sure she doesn’t do that again. I also know its okay to have some secrets hidden, especially if they are personal. But look, I promise once you get settled in I’ll take you out anywhere you want to go in the city. My treat.”

Like say every Tuesday it is mandatory to have tacos be made for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? And can I lock people in the dungeons? She however sighed at his next statement, “I’m not sure where I’d even want to go James. So I guess I’ll see you in an hour or so.” She said with a smile she wanted to go out but after what’s just happened she needed space. She could feel the panic and the slight lack of control on her powers.
James understood her concerns and placed his hand on her hand. “I trust you. If I trust you then the others will trust you too. If you need time to rest then I will see you in an hour,” the elevator door opens and James shows her to her room.
It was a good size room with a view of the city. He then takes off and hopes she will feel better later.
She blushed as he did so. But she quickly shook it off, “I will see you later then” she said to him and watched him take off before going into her room. She kicked off her icy blue pumps and flopped onto the large comfy bed. She sighed out and stared at the ceiling.
After seeming to get lost in thought and deep breathing she finally sat up almost feeling drowsy. She stood and went to the window. Taking in the large sky scraping view. Her eyes widened and she looked stunned. It wasn’t a view she was accustomed to seeing that was for sure.
Gwen shook her head in response. “Sable Internationals may be their own organization, but it doesn’t mean they are above the law. They have to follow the rules around here and work with us. However, if the mayor declares martial law and gives control to Anastasia then she can go over my head. Fortunately that isn’t going to happen.”
James nods in response. “If Sable Internationals does anything illegal it will be bad business for them. Something that isn’t good for any of them.”
Elsa nods in agreement to James plan. “It seems like the safest bet for the moment I agree and that’s why we’re here.” She spoke. She gather herself and stood straighter and had a more serious posture and aura to her. She looked at the girls “I do want to say thank you for helping. Both of you.” She says to the two women before her.
She looked at James then looked down. “I think I am going to excuse myself to find my room now. So I will find you girls later.” She spoke and bowed briefly. She turned in her heels and began to walk to an elevator. She didn’t expect James to follow she had figured he’d want to catch up with them over coming with her. So she didn’t say a word ad she stepped into the elevator.
James was about to say something to Elsa when she began to leave. He wonders if what happened with Rachel caused her to want to leave. James excused himself from his friends and began following Elsa. Wanting to talk to her before she goes to her room.
James stops the elevator from closing as he gets in the elevator. “H-hold on. We still got time before the party happens. That was the whole reason why we came early. So, I could show you around the city so you can have a good time without worrying about anything going wrong.”
“I-I know…..I figured you’d want to catch up with your team mates. I wanted to go find my room. Rachel being in my head just…..I need to calm down. No one has ever done that before.” She spoke in a quieter tone to James.
“I’d still like to go out…” she paused then corrected herself, “you know and go sight seeing and see New York.. I was just gonna settle into my room for a moment while I relax. It just is a different feeling to have someone pry into me. I’m the Queen of a country and to be read so easily worries me about the safety of those I love. Not that I’m hiding much if anything” she explained.
James sighed as he leans against the wall of the elevator. “I know this is probably a lot for you to handle. Believe me. Rachel though she is being cautious. She reminds me a lot of you in some ways.”
James though knew it was still no excuse for what she did. “I’ll make sure she doesn’t do that again. I also know its okay to have some secrets hidden, especially if they are personal. But look, I promise once you get settled in I’ll take you out anywhere you want to go in the city. My treat.”
Elsa had her arms hugged to her self. “There’s cautious and there’s violating trust.” She said to him. “I barely know these people. Yes it’s a lot but it’s also wrong. I’m supposed to trust them, then they should trust me right?” She asked her tone a bit more stern and defensive then normal.
