“You missed a few,” said Luna who while impressed with what she did a few arrows appeared and hit the queen from behind. “Never assume the fighting is over until you are absolutely sure the bad guys are all down. Since one might be hiding somewhere, especially if they deal with royalty people.”
James sighed figuring Luna had set up a few more traps that he wasn’t aware of. “Don’t worry the paint is easy to wipe away, but Luna is not completely wrong about that. Good thing though these were arrows. If they used a rifle then a bullet will be hard to see or block unless you increase the strength of your ice defense.”
“Yes, actually that’s an accurate description. I had him banned from Arendelle for treason. Why do you happen to know what he looks like?” She asked James. Arms folded out of habit of protection. But her brow was raised as she looked up at him.
“Because, he works for the Kingpin,” said James as he explains that years ago Abigail was confronted by the guy who wanted to offer a partnership, but was only doing it to try taking control of her company. Things didn’t turn out well when she discovered the guy also worked for the Kingpin of Crimes, but due to lack of evidence they couldn’t put him away.
“It might be possible he could have hired the Insidious Six to try killing you. He does have connections with the Kingpin,” said James who figures he might be the only one they have right now who has any connection with them.
She gives a look of concern and worry. “I understand but at the same time I’m still in disbelief at the whole thing. I…..I just couldn’t fathom these people coming after me and Arendelle for whatever reason. I just don’t know what could have brought this since Weasleton made it very clear he thought me having abilities made me a witch. He wouldn’t just go hiring people who also have strange abilities….I wouldn’t think” she said. Obvious concern spread across her face.
“From what we found out he only does it to keep up an appearance he hates those with powers,” said James recalling the stories Abigail told him and how the guy even calls for laws to be passed to do something about this. “Still, don’t be surprised if he ends up using criminals like these with powers to help him with crime.”
“That’s why we should go over there and kick his ass!” said Luna as her motorcycle comes over to her. “Let’s ride!”
James however turns off her motorcycle. “First of all, clam down. Secondly, we can’t touch him as long as his government protects him. Without proof of his involvement we can’t do much about this.”
She hugged herself Tighter while trying to think things through. “What can I do?” She asked. “And we cant go trespassing into his territory Luna. He’d have to come here or mutual ground” she explained to her. By the laws of most monarchy based territories/countries that remained.
“I sent Anna and others to the northern castle.” She mentioned. “Everyone was safe. But I fear Anna will start asking questions and I’m not sure I’m prepared to give her the answers yet” she added. And looked at all the ice and damage done to the garden area and she sighed
James goes over to her and placed his hand on her hand and tries to comfort her. “I think its time she does know. I know we shouldn’t tell her, but if these attacks keep getting worse she’ll find out the hard way. I’m sure she’ll understand why you kept this a secret.”
Luna meanwhile begins making a call to Abigail to let her know what is going on. So, she can be aware of who they think hired these assassins.
“It puts her in danger though. She has a temper and will jump the gun on things. I can’t risk her getting hurt. She’s all I have James” she said and her hand shifted and allowed him to hold it. She breathed out anxiously.
James held her hand and tries to calm her down. “Okay, okay. How about we have her go somewhere safe? We can have her go to Wakanda or New York where she can stay with Kymera or Abigail. She’ll be safe there until this is over.”
She holds his hand firmly in her own. She breathes out and thinks it over for a moment. “It would get her out of the way safely plus Anna has always wanted to see New York. That could work……” she paused and looked up at him, “…would your friend be okay with it?” She asked him wanting to be sure.
“Sure, I’m sure Abigail would be happy to have someone stay over at her place,” said James who reassures Elsa it will be okay. “We should go inside though for now and have Electro get locked up. Luna, make sure the guards keep him somewhere cold.”
“Yeah, yeah I know,” said Luna as she grabs the ice prisoned criminal with some chains and begins dragging him inside.
Elsa smiles softly and walks with James inside the castle. She thanks Luna for helping and doing the work she did.
When they got inside Elsa seemed to get distracted in her own thoughts having flashbacks to her coronation trying to think back into things that’d transpired between her and Hans and Weasleton.
