James arrived to find Elsa, her sister, and Christoph already in the room. He decides not to bring up what happened earlier since he didn’t want to make things awkward. So, he entered the room and found a nearby seat. Unaware his seat would be near Elsa.
Luna entered the room next, but was coming in from the kitchen since she made dinner. She brought them some homemade pizza. A very long thin pizza that took her a while to make, but quickly cooked it thanks to her powers.
“I bring you all dinner, which is a veggie pizza. It took me a while to make this so i hope you like it,” said Luna as she sets the pizza on the table.
Elsa smiles and hugged her sister “you look great! Now you can run ramped through NYC” she spoke to the younger one. “I’ll be fine. And Elsa you have to promise me you’ll have fun okay?!” Spoke Anna and Elsa raises a brow. “I do have fun.” She said and Christoph almost snorted with laughter but he caught himself.
James seemed confused by why that was funny, until he realized why. “Don’t worry, Anna. I’ll make sure she has a good time. I’ve been to New York a lot and I can show her around.”
Luna began chuckling. “Aww you two spending time together how nice.”
Elsa seems to blush and pull back some at James’ comment and Luna’s. She give a small nervous smile. “That sounds great” She spoke in a softer tone.
Anna sighs, “I didn’t mean you don’t have fun you know…..but as queen you’re always so busy the next couple days you don’t have to be busy running Arendelle.” She spoke and hugged Elsa tightly once more.
“It is the job of the queen to focus on helping keep their kingdom running, make sure everyone is doing good, and their country is safe,” said James as he turns to Elsa knowing she has done a great job leading her country. “However, it would be nice if the queen could use a day or couple of days to rest up.”
Luna nods in response. “Which is why i’ll help keep an eye on the kingdom and make sure it all goes well.”
Elsa smiles and looks at James, “It would be nice” She spoke. Anna almost screamed with glee at hearing her sister. “Ooohhh I have to go finish packing! Christoph, come help me!” She exclaimed and that tall blonde followed behind her. “Coming~” he spoke with a slight groan but a smile on his face.
Elsa then looks to Luna, “Just be careful. If you need anything from me or need advice or knowledge of anything do let me know” she spoke with mild concern. She’d never left arendelle unattended. Her parents hardly ever had either.
“I’ll be fine. I’ve handled much difficult tasks than running a kingdom for a few days,” said Luna who didn’t see anything wrong with this task since it should be simple.
“Maybe, but it would be wise to also contact Kymera if you get into some trouble,” said James who knew Kymera could help Luna out with anything kingdom related too.
Elsa gives a smile and sigh of relief at the idea of Luna having help watching the kingdom. “Well I should finish some work I have to do. We are set to leave tomorrow in the late evening. Which gives me time to finish up some papers and important stuff around here.” She spoke to them.
She flipped the watch off and her eyes and hair and freckles returned to their normal state and she looked at her hands and then up at Luna and then her eyes flicked to James. “Well I will see you two later” she spoke and excuse herself. Pulling her glance away from the Man.
James noticed this and stood up from his seat. “Have a goodnight, Elsa. I’ll be going around making sure the guards are on duty before I turn in for the night.”
Luna giggled softly as she sat down in her seat before whispering to her friend. “Why don’t you give her a goodnight’s kiss while you are at it?”
James turns to Luna and cleared his throat. “I can always leave you with a few SHIELD members to keep an eye on you.”
Luna groaned loudly. “Killjoy!”
Elsa had already left by the time they’d started bickering but she thanked James to check the guards. She moved down the hall a subtle hint of a smile on her lips. Mindlessly she wandered down and through the halls to her room. The queen opened the doors to her dark room and sighed out in finally being able to turn in for the night.
James took off after his bickering with Luna to do one last check around the castle before turning in for the night. He had Luna go downstairs to keep an eye on Electro until SHIELD came in the morning for him. Of course, they would have to wait until they left since he is sure Anna would question why SHIELD agents are in the castle. Something he is sure Elsa wouldn’t want.
As he walked down the castle he went into where the sisters have pictures of the family. James looks over to find pictures of the sisters at a young age and…well not much after that since most were when they appeared separated. He then found the family portrayed with the king and queen. He felt bad for the sisters for what happened to their parents, especially since he knew what that was like.
Elsa had undid her braid and stripped of her clothes changing into a cropped loosely fit tank top and shorts that matched. She washed her face and slid into a floor length satin robe which she tied at the waist and picked up a boom she had been working on and went to a chair she had in her room.
She’d left the doors open as usual these days while she began to get comfortable to read through another chapter or two. Though not realizing it though, her exhaustion from training and catching electro and being in the north castle and all her errands had finally set in and she’d begun to doze off. Her cheek rested on her elbow, propped on the arm of the chair.
James decided to leave the room since he figured he shouldn’t be in there. Looking at the pictures of Elsa and Anna without them giving him permission to do so. He soon heads to the bedrooms to make sure everyone is okay. Once he got to Elsa’s room though he found the door was open.
This caused him to become cautious and enters the room slowly concerned someone broke into the room. To his relief he found no one was in the room, but Elsa appeared to have fallen asleep at her desk. He knew she needed her rest, but didn’t want to wake her up.
So, he quietly and carefully picks her up bridal style then gently gets her to bed. As he carried her he couldn’t help but smile when he saw how beautiful she looked. He couldn’t deny he was falling for the queen, but he knew she deserved someone better than him. Not to mention he would put her and her family at constant risks with who he is.
He knew this was probably for the better. He doubts she feels the same as he does. He gets her to bed and tucks her in as he got the blanket over her. He checks the windows before closing the blinds before he begins leaving the room.
Elsa didn’t stir much as he carried her to bed. But as he left she stirred awake some. She opened her eyes sleepily and saw James and she mumbled “goodnight….” to him before falling asleep completely, once more.
She curled into her covers and snores softly as she slept.
(In A Dream) Elsa could see the figure of a man and she cautiously approached him. Something seemed oddly familiar. Warm. Though as she walked towards the man the sinister six seemed to attack her all at once. Left and right. She couldn’t see. Her panick rising and her fear taking over. Her shots of ice hit the individuals but as they all fell, she noticed the man had collapsed as well. She gasped and hurried to him. As she turned him over she found it to be James.
She gasped in horror. Stepping farther and farther back from him. She turned to find the sinister six had turned into those she’d loved and cared for….Anna, Christoph, Luna, her parents. (END)……
