Jack laid down beside her and watched her yawn, smiling at her yawning face. He reached out and pushed her hair away before he leaned in and gave her lips a sweet kiss. he pulled away and nuzzled down into his pillow. Then he closed his eyes as he ran his hand down and took her hand in his “Thank you.. For tonight…”

The blonde doesn’t argue. She gives a small smile on her lips, she simply hugs him close. Burying her face in his neck. She breathed out and tried to calm what nerves she had still toying with her.

Jack smiled and wrapped his arms around her and held her close. He knew this was sudden, but his heart was not lying and his feelings for her did grow. He felt like he could relax with her.

One of his hands reached up and he placed it on her head, feeling her soft golden locks under his fingers

She felt a shiver down her spine as he brushed his hand through her hair. She was still unsure…mostly? But she couldn’t help but feel something between them. Astrid eventually pulled back an looked up at him. “I think I should get back to finishing the changes to the house.” She spoke. A small smile.

Jack nodded “I think that would be best” He pulled back and took a step back “I guess I have to get the papers ready for when the dragon riders arrive, can i walk you back to the house?”

She nods, “sure, I don’t see why not” she spoke as they began to walk back. Stormfly was on a chase for a chicken that had been running by the area. She’d rejoin later.

Jack watched the dragon and smiled as they walked back to the house. Back at the house he gave her a small wave as he walked back into the big house and moved to his room to look over and make a trade agreement. Making more than one to make sure that the things he thought to trade would be desired.

He made one with mining rights for the rocks. One with research rights for the dragon ecosystems. Timber from the great woods and so on. Even tourism for the hot springs. It was thankless work to write all the agreements for the riders to choose from.

Astrid kept her focus on the building at hand. They’d already finished the twins. She kept it simple knowing them it was easier that way. Now she was close to finishing Snotlout and Fishlegs.

She kept getting distracted with her own thoughts listing the two chieftains by positives and negatives in her head but it didn’t seem to help her.
