Hiccup was still thinking about how he would have to one day take over for his dad as chief and then he was brought out of his thoughts when Stormfly came barreling at them. He smiled as he looked up at the distinctive blue deadly nadder and watched his girlfriend and her dragon interact. When she asked about Toothles he answered, “He’s over in the night terror’s cave saying goodbye and letting them know they have free reign of the edge while we’re gone.” He answered not too concerned about where his dragon was. 

Astrid tried to look at him as he talked but Stormfly kept distracting her. “When will we be leaving?” She asked. Though she knew it was today she was curious what they had left to do. She eventually got away from Stormfly and went back to Hiccup. She smiled, “maybe one last fly around the island?” She asked him. Might be nice. She always did enjoy flying with him. Stormfly made a purring hum and jumped around a little at the idea of a flight. Even if it was just around the island it was flying.

Astrid looked off in the distance and sighed. Stormfly was playing off somewhere not far while Astrid went to look at something she might’ve spotted on her scouting mission.

Hiccup was out on patrol on Toothless when he spotted Astrid looking off in the distance, he wondered what she had found. He and Toothless had swooped down to go join her and see what she found, when he landed he smiled at her, “Afternoon Milady, what did you find?” He asked her curiously as he got off toothless and walked over to her. 

Astrid turned around and looked at him. “Uh….nothing really. Thought I saw some movement in the cave. Was going to check it out” she explained to him and slowly neared the entrance of the cave. “Care to join?” She asked him. Holding her hand out to him for him to grab.
